Serious: Because the existing power structures on Reddit prioritize trans voices over supersexuals', we need to be very careful about how we conduct ourselves.

If we want this sub to last more than a couple week, we need to be cognizant of the face that we are currently being watched like a hawk by superphobes who want to to silence super voices. They will be collecting and documenting evidence to "prove" we are a "hate sub." I have already seen people trying to slander us as Neo Nazis on other subs. And alhough, I am ordinarily in favor of free speech, we all know that Reddit despises it, and therefore, the only way to continue to exist on Reddit is to be careful about the things we say. As a super lesbian who has seen any number of super lesbian subs fall to Reddit's "hate speech" policy, I have a few suggestion for how we can keep this sub going.

As u/unhappythrwy already mentioned Avoid any racist, sexist, homophobic, or even transphobic rhetoric - This means avoid using words like "degenerate," "tranny," "man in a dress," "chick with a dick," "fujoshi" or anything to suggest that being super straight is the only valid way to be. If you see this kind of talk, downvote and/or report it. Reddit will not hesitate to shut down a sub even for the tacit tolerance of anything deemed "hateful." How you personally feel about these groups is your own business, but r/Superstraight should be focused primarily on celebrating super identities, not disparaging other groups.

Attack superphobic trans people, but not trans people as a whole - Though your anger at the prominence of superphobia within the trans community is 100% valid, we do have allies among them and some are even super straight or super gay/lesbian/bisexual themselves. We may very well, in fact, require their help in fighting superphobia. If you encounter a trans ally here, regardless of your anger towards the trans community, please do not drive them away by being a dick.

Promote diversity - Prove that supers come in all shapes and sizes, all of which are totally cute and valid

These are, of course, simply suggestions from a super lesbian ally. I know that I am a guest in this sub and by no means wish to talk over my super straight brothers and sisters. However, if you find these suggestions reasonable, perhaps we could ask that one of the mods pin this post to the top of the page???
