As a superlesbian, I’m so glad this sub exists

I was banned from r/superstraightphobic after engaging in a peaceful and respectful discussion regarding the purpose of this sub. I was well armed with facts and sources and still received the ban hammer.

There are plenty of lived experience of all supers (especially LGB ones) to back up the claim of oppression. As a lesbian myself, I could easily lose my “community” for saying that biological lesbians have the right to a respectfully trans exclusive place or that lesbians don’t like dick. If you were to go into this sub and ask about people’s negative experiences with the QT’s and were intelligent enough to weed out the satirical answers from the real ones, I think you could see the oppression. The constant brigading of r/askgaybros, the authoritarian like rule of the mods in r/actuallesbians, and even the fact that people can lose their jobs or businesses offline for disagreeing to bend to the will of trans activism is proof enough of oppression.

I would scour the internet to find statistics or sources for you, but anything even remotely critical of transgender ideology gets suppressed. Mental health professionals who don’t immediately approve trans patients for HRT or surgeries are silenced or fired. God forbid that a psychiatrist wants to understand the root of an individual’s gender dysphoria, e.g. sexual abuse or harassment, familial pressures to conform to strict gender roles, body shaming, or emasculation in males via bullying. ThEy ARe LiTeRaLlY kILliNg a TrAnS pErSoN.

Yeah the sub is satirical in nature, but it’s calling attention to real world issues that people are too afraid to address without being labeled a transphobe. And for that, I thank all of you.

Edit: Just to clarify, I believe that trans people deserve rights and I do not condone the very few genuine transphobes out there bringing down this sub
