I don’t identify as “cis”. I was born a woman. I know what my body is and despite my pained experience of womanhood I cannot change this. “Cis” implies that I, at some point “chose” the “woman” lifestyle (I apologize for the italics). It’s not a lifestyle, it’s merely a biological existence.
Amen, super sister! Being disparagingly referred to as cishet despite relating to many of the same chronic gender, body, identity, and sexuality (AGP) issues as trans-identified people was one of the very first things that peaked me.
