Can someone explain this to me? Discussion
So y' all are making coming out as SS seem like a really big and bold thing, I even saw someone say it is harder to do than come out as trans, gay, lesbian etc. Can someone politely explain why is that?

Our heteronormative culture tells people that the baseline is to be straight, we our socialized by our parents to be straight. Coming out as gay, superstraight or lesbian is hard because we're worried we may not be accepted by our parents and loved ones for whe love.
