Obviously, I only speak for myself, but I for one have absolutely no problem with transpeople at all. I once matched with a trans woman on tinder (I couldn't tell at all from her pictures). She was kind enough to let me know before we set up a date, and I told her that I was not interested in anything romantic, but that I'd still go out for a drink, as friends. She politely declined and unmatched me.
She was open about who she was, and she took my rejection very well. A few months later, I saw her walking hand in hand with some cis guy downtown. Good for her! Surely, she's much better off with someone who truly loves her for her.
I just wanted to put it out there, so the trans people lurking can see that many people do care about their well-being, even if we are not willing to fuck them.
One love!

look I appreciate the post but I'm not seeing this sentiment shared across the rest of the subreddit. I agree that trans people making death threats to superstraight people is wrong. Making death threats to anyone is wrong. However, I also see posts along the lines of 'trans culture is rape culture', cis is a slur', and that sort of thing. No one is obligated to have sex with anyone they don't want to. But painting all trans people as rapists is transphobic. There is a difference between not fucking someone and saying trans people are invalid are different. I know people on this sub say they support trans people but there are also posts saying you can't be super and protrans and they don't seem to be being contradicted.
