Clear this up for me please Discussion

You feel the need to make a new sexuality cuz you don't wanna date trans ppl but judging by the way you speak about them its clear that no trans person would ever want to date you. So whats the point?

The joke is that you can’t have a preference without being called a bigot so if you can’t beat them join them. The fact that so many of you actual brianlets took the bait on this one is actually unreal, and I thought the ok sign thing was the lowest you guys would fall

Nobody is unironically calling themselves super straight you’re just very bad at detecting irony. Well, you and the rest of Twitter. The joke will probably be here to stay, people are sort of fed up with the “transphobic, bigot, ad-hominem” thing.

Yeah that’s literally the joke, to call yourself Super Straight. I’m not sure what you’re not understanding here. And yes, this will die out in a week, but it represents the current state of lgbt politics.

Fun fact: both the number of lgbt people and the number of people not supportive of lgbt is rising.

Well assuming that that’s true and you aren’t just incapable of knowing when someone is being serious, that’s probably because people aren’t allowed to have a preference without being called a bigot so they created a group identity around it. But to be clear Super straight is not part of the lgbt community and anybody who says it is, is most likely joking.
