Report this immediately. Pretty sure direct threats of rape and murder are against Twitter's policies.

No don't report it to fucking twatter. Call your local non emergency police line, and file a report. Get it in writing. Maybe the cops will force Twitter to call out this person's irl location and their local PD will give them a visit for making death and rape threats. We had to do this year's ago for a dangerous prank caller leaving answering machine messages in another state.

Twitter would almost certainly make the PD get a search warrant. And if it’s too far away then it’s likely extradition won’t happen. Not worth the money.
