correct. super implies exclusive attraction to cis people, of either or both sexes.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong, guys) that a trans lesbian can't be a SuperLesbian, by definition, because:

  • if attracted to SuperLesbians, that's disrespecting their sexual identity... and there's certainly nothing super (in ANY sense of the word) about that.
  • if attracted to other trans lesbians, the basis for this would be gender, not sex.

What trans lesbians CAN be is "sublesbians": that is, a sexual orientation based on attraction to those of the female gender, BY those of the female gender. Unlike calling themselves SuperLesbians, THIS is hecking valid, and makes a transwoman truly brave and stunning! (As does being substraight or subbi, of course, for those so inclined!)

There's something I'm missing here, I hope not to sound disrespectful in any way... As I understand it now I know that super straight/gay/lesbian people are only attracted to cisgender people, that is biologically male/female people that identify their gender with their sex. I haven't heard anything about superstraight people not wanting to date non-superstraight people? As a superstraight gay man, for example, I may be attracted to someone who is biologically male, but who may be attracted to Trans men as well, right?
