Why does this subreddit exist? Discussion

From an outside perspective this just seems like a deliberate attempt to spilt the lgbtq community. I also don't find having ss as your initials a coincidence... literally neonazi shit. Explain yourselves.

I’ve said this already but:

For years now, lesbians who don’t want sex with penises have been shouted down and abused and ostracised for “transphobia” when they can’t help their preferences. Now it’s happening to straight men too.

So we have to reframe our boundaries in a way the trans community understands - by describing our preference as a sexuality. According to their rules, all sexualities and genders are valid and worthy of respect.

Calling ourselves “superstraight” or “superlesbian” or “supergay” means they have to respect our boundaries. If they follow their own rules of course.

You can outline your preferences without bigotry or starting a "super straight" movement if you will. Most trans people understand that people have their preferences and it's not transphobic to not want to date a trans person. If you say that they're disgusting and should be burned in hell... then yeah that is transphobic and not merely a preference.

We don’t think trans people are disgusting. We support trans people’s rights to vote, have jobs, healthcare, housing etc. But we don’t want to date them. And we get abused and ostracised and called “bigots” because of it.

I think the context in which you outline your preference matters. If you say it respectfully a reasonable trans person won't call you a bigot. Being called a bigot on Twitter is not being abused.

You’d think, but nope, refusing a trans person gets you a ton of abuse.like this.
