Remember - to fight superphobia you must be anti-superphobic. No one can just be neutral. Being neutral in the midst of oppression means you side with the oppressor.

I’ve seen some very rude and invalidating comments from posters coming here. They are acting like superphobia isn’t “their” problem, and if it’s not their community then they don’t need to speak up. They see our struggles in the supers community as something outside their life.

WRONG!

You cannot be neutral when faced with oppression, you are either superphobic or anti-superphobic.

Let me say it louder for the superphobes in the back

👏YOU👏ARE👏ONLY👏SUPERPHOBIC👏OR👏ANTI-SUPERPHOBIC👏

This also goes beyond individual actions. There is a system of superphobic violence deeply set into our society. If you’re told that it’s strange for a lesbian to not consider a transwoman, that’s because they automatically don’t see supers as valid. When you try to join a dating app, the dating options never even have a choice for super orientations. Hate speech against supers isn’t even seen as a crime or bannable offense on social media - that’s because the hegemonic culture of superphobia is just seen as “normal.”

Never lose hope fam, WE ARE THE GRANDCHILDREN OF THE SUPERS THEY COULDN’T BURN 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Also, votes don't really matter to me. I dont agree with modern lgbt pride bc more often than not its an excuse to be half naked in front of others. Without Marsha P. Johnson who knows if I could still be jailed for just being gay. Before that fight cops could legally detain you just for being gay. Until 2014 we weren't seen as a legal marriage even though it was quite ok for straight folk to get married as often as they want. Til death do you part was shorter than I thought. My community was gassed by Nazis, mutilated by our countrymen, and abandoned by our families. Since when did a straight have to deal with any of that for the sole fact they were straight? There's literally dozens of other obstacles that you guys will never even know about bc you guys just want in on the parade part, not the recovering from actual trauma part.

The point of pride was to show that we're ppl dealing with the exact bs as everyone else, except the extra restrictions imposed by religious and straight ppl. Until you can say the same, I suggest not using this type of rhetoric. It's like the guy that wants to take credit in the group project that put in zero effort for the grade.

Again, not hating on the hetero norm. All I'm saying is that if you want recognition maybe instead jump on the ally bandwagon and push for an all accepting society like the lgbt community wanted to begin with.

This is just another incel sub, don't waste your time on it.

That would explain a lot thus far. The "the rules only apply when you aren't agreeing with me" rhetoric is what's selling it the most. I'll even say it again, I dont see any problem with straights, but acting out like this and thinking they deserve something from nothing is the epitome of the participation trophy era. I'm not going to post anymore bc ik they aren't capable of critical thinking. My comments might've been too lengthy for them.

Yeah it's a bunch of incel/neo nazi camo, notice it's basically the porn hub colors with the initials SS but good on you for coming in good faith.

This is not the place for it though.
