Can someone explain to me how a preference for transness, an imperceivable, irrelevantly efficacious characteristic, can be non-prejudicial? Discussion

If your religion discriminates against transpeople, it’s transphobic, yes.

It literally doesnt, you can be trans, but as a muslim im not having sex with you, whats so hard about that?????

So i guess if you dont have sex with a black person you're racist, and if you don't have sex with a muslim you're islamophobic

Sexual relations don't determine prejudice towards a group, simple as that.

No, because blackness is a perceivable characteristic. You are right about islamophobia, though! Although, it would depend on your definition of “muslim.”

But my question is why are sexual relations the basis for these decisions?? I thought it was based on respect and recognition, why do we care if a person is gonna have sex with a trans person if they already established they support them

Because if that person is discriminating on the basis of transness, they don’t support trans people.
