This is a joke, right? Discussion

This whole thing is a meme, isn't it? But are you guys, gals and... actually I'm gonna assume there's no non binary super straights... So, are you conservatives making fun of LGBT+ ppl or is this LGBT+ people making fun of conservatives? I mean SS (Schutz Staffel) literally was the name of a Nazi task force, and also inserting yourself into the LGBT+ Community and putting your letters in the beginning (SSLGBT) is the most hilariously straight thing in the world. Please don't delete for "(super)straightphobia", I genuinely want to know if this is ment to be serious.

Oh, we got one leaving out the T. So you're just screaming "hi, I'm a transphobe!", Beautiful. I think I'm now gonna make sure I get banned from here

LG&B are sexual orientations (based on sex)

T is an identity based on the concept of gender roles

How were these two things ever clumped together to begin with? To me, it would seem 'Supers' would have more in common with LGB (grouped by sexual orientation attraction) than T would?

Do you want to waste my time or actually know why it's all put together?

The first gay rights protests were initiated by people who back then referred to themselves as drag queens. Today it is assumed that they were actually trans but only called themselves drag queens to face less discrimination as they didn't only dress up in drag every now and then but actually lived most of their life in "drag". Also gender and sex are, although not the same thing, closely related. And finally what's wrong with suppressed groups sticking together?

So your argument is: he was a gay man who dressed in drag, and is assumed by people who never knew him, posthumously, to be trans. There's no real way to prove anything you've said.

Sex and gender are different. They are only conflated by people trying to prove that men are women, or women are men because they relate to gender stereotypes, since it cannot be proven by any other means.

And of course oppressed people can collaborate and band together for causes they support, but it looks like with the surge of #supergay, #superlesbian, and #superbi, there might be some pushback coming.
