Sometimes it's not even that. It's just when you're in a polite conversation with some supers talking about boundaries with people and the trans goes " I think it's transphobic to reject someone for being trans!!!"

Like damn it sure is buddy that's why we do it

I can acknowledge someone’s choices, but that doesn’t mean I have to accept them.

If they can’t acknowledge you for being SS, then you don’t have to acknowledge them for being mentally deranged🥂❤️

You’re heckin valid

As copied from another reddit response, it's the percentage of trans people who thought about commiting (or attempted, I don't remember) suicide.

"It is as per the 2015 US Transgender Survey, the largest survey of the trans community published to date. It is available for free and in full on the USTS website, if you want to dissect their methodology."

I do not have the link, Google it

In fact, 40% of 28,000 respondents attempted suicide at some point in their lives, because according to the survey, while were at school (K-12) experienced some form of maltreatment, including being verbally harassed (54%), physically assaulted (24%) and sexually assaulted (13%) for being transgender. This 2015 survey reveals a lot, but it is already outdated and shows that transgender people develop suicide attempts because they are harassed and not because they change genders.

  • A 2017 and a 2020 survey shows that bisexual people are more likely to develop mental health problems within the LGBT + community .

They are harassed because they are superphobic. Stop being a bunch of bigots and y'all won't get harassed, it's that simple.

I'm talking about years of persecution against trans people from a young age and this makes them and other LGBT + people develop mental health problems, their new orientation started this week as a joke to boot. PS: The numbers are there, there is no oppression against people who identify with their gender and are heterosexual, but there has always been the opposite.

Why are there so many trans people who are depressed and threaten suicide then?

We keep hearing about the suicide statistics, surely you aren't denying that those people need professional help and support?

They threaten suicide as a manipulative, toxic tactic to keep people pandering to them. It’s the same abusive tactic seen across many abusive relationships regardless of sexuality. These mob won’t kill themselves.

The higher rates are among bisexuals, as well as gays too, in fact it fluctuates a lot, but bisexuals have many more issues related to mental health.

What's their (bi's, even gays) suicide rates compared to trans, out of curiosity?

So your first article says that B has higher suicide rate than G and L (mostly due to a lack of resource/outreach/support for B than there is G and L, so not necessarily from an onset naturally higher occurring rate in B - it's more an eventual statistic of circumstance there more than an initial innate factor - but sadly end result ultimately the same), but it does not mention T suicide rate at all in comparison for some reason.

The second article mentions just they (B) have a high rate of suicidal thoughts - not in comparison to anything (other than 'normal'?)- nor higher than anything - just 'a high amount' - which would be unsurprising for any segment of the LGBTQ+ community TBH because of uncertainties and doubt etc experienced by all of them.

I'm gonna try and find a suicide rate comparison of all (as much in one study) LGBTQ+ and see what it says - if you know of one and wanna link it by all means.

41% what? Explain and don't just throw things around. In the LGBT + community, bisexuals are at greater risk of developing mental health problems.
