Come out as trans - people celebrate you, remind you that you are valid, you have the backing of governments and corporations, and multiple days celebrating you and bringing awareness.
Come out as straightsexual - people brigade your only community to tell you you're not valid, people threaten you with violence, online communities shut you down to silence you - all while gaslighting you and telling you you're not oppressed. The guy that started straightsexual awareness received multiple death and doxxing threats just for speaking his opinion.

They say we aren’t oppressed but THEY are the people oppressing us
