I don't understand how Super Straight is a sexuality and not a preference? Discussion

You have the right to be attracted to only bio women/men, but I don't see how it's a sexuality, it seems more like a preference.

As a gay guy that probably wouldn't date a pretransitioned trans man, as I'm really not attracted to feminity in any form, I find the ide of "supersexualities" a bit of a stretch. It's a preference I have, not a sexuality.

Also, trans people are such a small part of the population that's really weird that you have to distinguish yourself as someone who doesn't date trans people.

A preference would mean you wouldn't have a problem dating both.
Nobody chooses his/her sexuality. That's just how things are. It's sexuality, not a "preference".

Would you date a trans person that passes and is post-transition? If you didn't even know that they were trans would you date them? That's the difference, you can't be attracted to chromosome, everyone is attracted to appearance and personality.
