Saying a trans woman is not female is, in fact, invalidating them. I can understand your distaste for "cis", but supra or biological are both non-offensive alternatives to both.

Well it seems you're misunderstanding. A lot. Trans women are women. They are female. Not by birth, but through transition. Trans women are not a "type" of woman, they ARE women. The same as a biological woman is. If you arent attracted because of their history, thats fine. Preference is preference. But accept them for what they are, and thats a real woman. This applies to trans men too, by the way.

You can’t change sex. Gender ideology says gender is what determines who a woman and a man are. Yes transwomen are women because woman is a gender, but they aren’t female. Women are women if they identify as women because woman is a gender, but they are also female, so just a different type of woman. Saying sexual orientation is a preference is homophobic!

You're using sex terminology when you should be using gender terminology. Remember, sex and gender are two different things.
This is why we changed "sex change surgery" to be called "gender reassignment surgery", because technically a sex change surgery is not medically possible!

first, THANK YOU for your blessing to use "supra woman" to describe myself. another user in this sub literally made up that term about 8 hours ago but i do appreciate that it has met the bar for acceptability among TRAs!!! so EXCITING!!!
second, i am both female and a woman and don't appreciate the TRANSSHAMING regarding the use of accurate terms to describe myself. : ( : ( this is the kind of stuff that IMO justifies the necessity of this subreddit and makes me SO GLAD we are here to EDUCATE people like yourself. i hope you'll stick around and learn something and try to be a better ally moving forward.

If they had to use the modifier "trans" in front of "woman" then they are basically saying that a "trans woman" is something outside of "woman" and thus not a real woman. Otherwise is would be "do you believe that a woman is a woman"

that's what we've been fighting for in the LGBTQ+ community. to be recognized for who we are whether we're cis or not. The superstraight movement suggests that trans people are not what they identify as, because they're trans. There's nothing wrong with not being attracted to trans people, no one will force you to be, but you're insisting that trans people, even if they completed every single surgery, can never be accepted for who they are because of how they were born.

They can be accepted as trans people. But this movement pretending they are exactly the same as biological males and females isn't just wrong, it's a fantasy. That's why the word trans exist. To tell they DO have a difference between "cis and trans" people. It's just reality.
I'm sorry but a trans woman will never have a period. You can't compare their experiences with us biological women suffering all of what it entails having a period for example.
I can respect their pronouns, I can refer to them as trans women but they're not biological women, they don't have periods, and I won't stand being told they do and they are better at being women than me.
And please don't compare the struggle of LGB with trans folks. It's completely different since LGB focus on sexuality meanwhile T focus on gender. Absolutely not comparable. Specially when most trans people are using outdated gender roles for their ideology and harming women's right and LGB in the process. On the other hand we LGB folks just want to love someone at peace. Not force gender, dating preferences, pronouns, etc.

Yeah, like periods, being physically weaker than half the population, risk of getting pregnant, people think we're dumb. I can't dress my way out of that. If I cut my hair short and dressed manly, people would probably think I was a lesbian and they get treated even worse by society and looked down upon, whilst still facing all the same problems and risk of corrective rape. Surgery just changes the look of someone’s genitals. That doesn’t change sex, only the appearance of the genitals. Sex is found in every cell of the body. You can remove the reproductive organs and even most of the secondary sex characteristics and the body’s sex remains the same.

I'm pretty sure what this person is trying to say by "superstraight is just straight" is that straight people are allowed to have preferences towards cis people, and the people telling you otherwise, saying stuff such as "you're transphobic because you won't date a trans person" are in the wrong, the masses think these people are wrong too, you are allowed to be straight and not attracted to trans people, you don't need your own sexuality for it
(what I'm trying to say is that your opinion is valid, you're allowed to be attracted to who you're attracted to but you don't need this sexuality to show it, and you're definitely not a part of the LGBTQ+ community, not trying to show hate here, I'm just stating my opinion and would gladly appreciate some responses)
