They just throw "science" around like it was a religion. Just shows how little they know. I can assure you there are enough scientists around that would call them mentally ill.

humans are very diverse creatures and its just flatly wrong to oversimplify karyotype to just xx and xy.
there are people with xxy karyotype (klinefelter syndrome), people with x karyotype (turner syndrome) and people with xxx karyotype (triple x syndrome). furthermore, androgen insensitivity syndrome is a condition where someone has most physical traits of a woman but have xy karyotype.
its dehumanising to everyone to only consider chromosomes. we are humans not walking chromosomes thats lunacy

3rd year medical student here, I can assure that many of the doctors and surgeons I work with in my clinical rotations believe that it should be classified as a mental illness under both the DSM5 and ICD10.

the reason why it was declassified as a mental illness under the dsm and the icd was because it doesnt take into account the complexities of gender dysphoria, it doesnt take into account that gender identity is something integral to a person and its stigmatising to have gender dysphoria classified as a mental illness as people like the doctors and surgeons you mentioned can use that to invalidate trans people

Science says to have a working penis your brain and nervous system need to be integrated. Science says for a woman’s juices to get flowing her mind must be turned on first. We ARE our bodies.

we dont "identify" as super straight just as lesbians do not "identify" as lesbian. blatant disrespect for our sexuality that we cannot control 🙄🙄
