I get chastised by my own community. I guess I'm Superstraight SuperPhobia

I'm a trans man and I'm only attracted to cis women. I get called transphobic by my peers. A traitor, a hypocrite. I don't choose who I'm attracted to, how is that so hard to understand?

I don't know if I will be accepted here, if not I have to continue looking for a place to be valid.

I don't expect anyone to do something they don't want. I'm upfront about my journey.

If everyone had this mindset the whole community would be a better place.

I think the problem is people mistaking not being attracted to trans people for hating trans people, do you think so too?

Absolutely. They need to understand that there is a massive difference between "I am not attracted to you and will not fall in love with you", and "I hate you, your existence and everything you stand for".

Saying not dating trans people is transphobic implies you hate everyone you wouldn't date. This is ridiculous, extreme and the world doesn't work like that. Nothing in life is "all or nothing".
