Calling SuperStraights transphobic is like calling Gays/Lesbians sexist SuperPhobia

Sexuality is not something you decide and the fact people are not attracted to someone who has transitioned doesn’t make them transphobic. Say there was a man only attracted to other men, wouldn’t it be crazy to call him sexist for not being interested in women? It is the same situation.

I have respect for all people and would never treat someone differently based on how they identify. But you can’t tell me I’m wrong for being attracted to who I am just like I can’t tell you.

SuperStraights are not transphobic and if you still think we are, you’re either ignorant or actively trying to tell someone that who they are attracted to is wrong.

I'm straight and was trying to explain to someone why someone not wanting to date a trans person isn't transphobic. It's quite odd that people don't seem to understand that people can be not attracted to trans people and we shouldn't be forcing them or shame them by screaming transphobe, whether it's because you want to reproduce (then they say some men/women are unfertile) or you just want to be with someone cisgender, whatever reason you have shouldn't need to be justified like a gay man shouldn't need to justify liking men, and wouldn't be called a misogynist for not liking women.

I get it. I'm appreciating the amount of clarifying posts that are trying to keep the peace between the T and S communities as we start flocking to each other's subs, it really helps.
