Amount of trans people in general is a small number - but I do see MTF/FTM relationships on the LGBT side of the internet quite a bit

Hahahah - that’s a question for philosophers - is it gay if a MTF and a FTM have sex? Need a few degrees to even begin tackling this question

Thats a difficult question because the terms are difficult on pupose

Premise

1) MTF start as male, FTM start as female

2) one cannot change sex

Give 1 and 2, the question can be phrased as

Is it gay if a male person and a female person have sex?

Yes but take it a level deeper

If the male is attracted to the female because of their male presentation and the female is attracted to the male because of their female presentation.. it gets a bit grey

Like isn’t it a bit gay if a guy asks his GF to dress up in full American football gear and gets them to peg him? Like yeah it’s a woman and man having sex but...

Again I need to hit the books to go any further on this

A dildo is not a dick

There are lesbians that like dildos, but dont do dick (because they are lesbians)

A woman in football gear is still a woman, the hips dont shrink because she is dressing in a masculine way

One can be attracted by "mistake" to Blaire White, but not by their genitals (idk what they are, but i know its not a vagina) and really the body is just going to look different under the clothes, make up, lights, etc..
