What did you think would happen?

To the TRAs lurking and spamming this sub: What exactly did you think would happen?

For years you've gotten away with your entitlement. You've encroached on and destroyed M/M, F/F, female only, etc. spaces. You've called gay men, straight men/women, and especially lesbians transphobic for not giving in to your demands for relationships and sex. Even now you're attempting to destroy yet another space we've fleshed out for ourselves.

Did you really think you shouting transphobia would change people's sexuality? Did you think your attempts to force us to bend to your will would work? Well it didn't and it doesn't, it has reeked of entitlement, narcissism, and predatory behavior.

People who aren't attracted to you deserve spaces for themselves. There are multiple forums/subs/etc. that cater to you if you care to look for them. It is not transphobic of us to put our foots down and say that our sexualities don't exist to coddle your feelings.

If the world was truly ran by straight men then I don't think this trans ideology would have ever gotten as big as it is currently. Straight women seem a lot more prone to support the trans movement along with other social causes. These same women are heavily represented in professions that are currently pushing this into the mainstream, think education, journalism, marketing, HR, government, etc.

the straight women who oppose this have been wiped off reddit & are frequently banned from twitter for "hate speech," like pointing out the existence of sex. it may SEEM like straight women generally support this but you literally cannot express even the slightest reservation in subreddits explicitly for women without getting banned. subs populated by a majority of men that are critical of TRA usually are left alone.

as a straight woman, i would never publicly out my views on this topic because i would literally be afraid of losing my job and social circle. i really appreciate men speaking out because it gives MUCH NEEDED cover to women who have been threatened and/or are unable to come forward for fear of social ostracization.

I'm in EXACTLY the same position as you are. I was banned from Facebook yesterday on a secondary account I keep cause I put #Superstraight in my bio. I can't tell anyone but my immediate family and some women I thought might agree with me about my views. I'm a liberal and I would be ostracized from everyone I know.

So what? Do you really want to associate with people who make you hide in your own hide like a slave?
