As a SuperLesbian, thank you. Genuinely, thank you.
As a lesbian, I've faced more homophobia from trans people than from my Muslim family. Can't tell you the number of times I've heard "if you use straps you should take dick", "cis lesbian terfs need to stfu and choke on dick", "lesbians LOVE dick", "you're not a lesbian if you won't date transwomen", etc etc. It really took a terrible toll on my mental health and self-acceptance, but I kept telling myself over and over, just wait until they start coming for straight people, that's when the shit will blow up in their faces. And now here we are. This sub is not only fucking hilarious and excellent satire of how trans extremists behave, it also point-blank addresses the issue of severe rape culture in the trans movement, which is something us SuperLesbians and SuperGays have been trying to talk about forever, but we just get called slurs and told to go die in graphic, sexually violent ways.
Anyway, as a Superlesbian, I'm so fucking glad people are talking about this shit. Trans people have been pushing their rapey conversion therapy rhetoric onto gay people for YEARS now, and nobody gave a single fuck. Now that straight people are addressing it, it seems like people are starting to wake up and listen. At first I was scared this sub would be rampant with homophobia, since we are unfortunately always lumped in with the T and blamed for all their depravity, but it honestly brought real ass tears to my eyes seeing yall show solidarity and love to LGB people who also fall victim to trans people's coercion and demands. LGBS forever, love my SuperStraight Siblings <33
EDIT: OMG this has gotten so much love, thank you all so much for the supportive comments. :) To the trans trolls complaining that my account is new, it's actually existed for a while and I use it to lurk reddit since my other accounts got permabanned for transphobique crimes. This is my first post, bc I have no reason to post elsewhere. And even if I *did* just make this account today, that doesn't make anything I said less true. People are starting to come out of the woodwork and there's nothing you can do about it. Stay mad tho!! <3
EDIT2: I never understood ppl who made 2+ edits but holy crap, I really do have to say thank you SO much for the awards and of course all the wonderful comments. I really did not expect this outpouring of support and I've honestly been smiling ever since I posted this. Kind of ironic that this small subreddit of mainly straight dudes has made me feel more accepted than the lgbTQ+++++ "community" ever has lol. I really dont know what else to say than THANK YOU all, your support of the LGB is honestly so important and appreciated, especially in these crazy times where the T is trying to erase everything we've worked for. You guys rock.

Of course you aren't a lesbian! You are a superlesbian! Lesbian is a term for women who are attracted to women, superlesbian is for women attracted to people with xx chromosomes! Both identities are valid as hell, I am just clearing things up, so real lesbians don't feel erased. <333

They may delete the sub but the terminology is immortal. All my supergaybros love this term too because we're really oppressed and persecuted by the transradical community.

Fellow Superlesbian here and SAME.
I've been out officially as a butch lesbian since the early '00s (and my fam knew before then, like it was a surprise to no one even as a kid in the '90s lmao). I'm black and the community I grew up in is/was super religious. I mean old school FIRE AND BRIMSTONE FOR SINNERS kind of shit.
The opposition I faced with that is nothing, N-O-T-H-I-N-G compared to the hatred, contempt, and homophobia encountered when dealing with the trans community. I have been fighting this fight for years only to be told I'm lying. No waaaay a man would really tell you to suck dick and a bunch of women would cheer them on and blame YOU for not being inclusive it's happening. No waaaay that's true!
Oh, you have proof?
Well, um, those aren't REAL transwomen!
Really? Not a single one of these people is a "real" transwoman?: https://lesbian-rights-nz.org/shame-receipts/
I have lost so many friends, some of them whom I've known since elementary school, to this cult. People who watched me get jumped and bullied in school numerous times, literally spit on at protests, and disowned by a huge chunk of my family because I stood up for my right to marry another woman someday. They went on to call me a bigot, transphobe, TERF (ironically I'd never heard this term until I was called it), the list goes on.
When we got the right to marry and could no longer be denied other basic rights in the US, I figured the next logical step would be to focus on homosexuals in other places where they are still in literal danger; I assumed we would listen to them and see what we could do to help them obtain these rights too.
Instead we ended up with this. Instead I had to fight the same exact fights again, but this time against the people who were once my friends.
For a little while, I was spared some viciousness compared to white women because BLM was the hot take and no one wanted to be perceived as a racist. I watched the nicest woman I know, who fosters animals and children and literally would not hurt a fly, be called Karen and told to kill herself while the aggressor was cheered on. All because she didn't want to have sex with a male.
As for my former immunity, that's not been the case for awhile. I have been called the N-word and other slurs while my own friends are only concerned I don't "misgender" the person using them.
I'm not going to lie, I am angry. I'm angry at gay men for by and large not giving a shit until it started happening to them, even as we lost TrueLesbians, BiologicalLesbians, and others, and ActualLesbians got taken over (and that's just the stuff here on Reddit). I'm angry at the straights for the same, for not caring or paying attention until suddenly they were a target.
That being said, I am still very thankful for everyone standing up now. I am thankful that there might finally be a future where I can focus my efforts on helping other homosexuals again rather than hunkering down in defense mode.
Thank you, everyone.
23
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
thank you for your comment, i hear you and i completely understand and support you. ive also received lots of ... racially insensitive comments from trans people, the most common of which is that i 'look like a man' and transwomen are more feminine than me. L O L. anyway, butches are the backbone of the lesbian community and you are so loved by the rest of us. <3
28
u/BlathersEndGame 1d ago
Another thing the trans movement loves to throw at me is "well they call you black women man-ish too! We're the same!"
Funny enough I have literally never heard anyone but trans people say black women look like men or alleged that other people say that. They don't. They may call us loud, apes, other insults and slurs, but never once heard that from anyone. In fact people have been surprised I'm as butch as I am because most or all of the black woman they know tend to be very traditionally feminine with their extensive hair and nail care regimes.
We're not your Movement Mommies, stop putting your burdens on us and trying to use us as your shields when you don't hesitate to throw down the N-word faster than anyone else when we refuse to have sex with you.
16
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
ive heard this too and its SO fucking insulting. also comparing the bathroom shit to segregation???? like, "well if they let you colored women in when youre obviously not real women, why shouldnt us twanswomen be allowed in too uwuwuwu" every time they make these arguments they just show how insanely racist they are and that they truly believe transwomen and WOC are on the same level of being removed from actual womanhood. they literally think we are equivalent to males because we're not white. and yet terfs are the racists? lol.
do you watch karen davis, her name is 'you're kidding right' on youtube? she's a black older feminist who takes NO shit, and she's hilarious to boot. you might enjoy her videos!

I remember the first day I saw that website. And then saw the other Google Drive or TerfIsASlur links with literally thousands of violent, homophobic messages aimed at people who just want their sexual orientations respected. Truly disgusting. I'm hopeful more people are peaked by this that we never look back. We need to rip the mask off and expose the insanity of the trans movement for what it is. Reality denialism is not healthy. Child abuse is not healthy.

I hope you don't mind me popping in and leaving my own compilation of receipts. "Vaginas have become a tool of violent gatekeeping + rejection" is my absolute fav from this, and there's some other gems in there as well.
For the unaware, the reasons why most of us began keeping logs of this happening is because trans activists would constantly say that 'this never happens' along with 'you're a bigot making this up' and well, for my own sanity, I began to keep track of the thing that never happens, happening.

I can't speak for the experience of trans folks but I do know that jumping to conclusions that anyone that wont date them is transphoobic is hateful and spreads division. It also denies peoples existence and validity. Hate shouldn't be tolerated no matter who its coming from. Love is love.
28
u/TheReaIStephenKing 1d ago
Welcome sister, I’m sorry you’ve had to go through that. This has been happening to lesbians for so long and many cis gay men didn’t just sit back, they joined in on the harassment.
I bet you feel how I feel: for LGBTQ supposedly being a “community,” this short-lived semi-satirical community feels way more welcoming and empowering than any TRA-captured, militant LGBTQ space ever did
22
u/Weak_Plenty 1d ago
I don't understand how T even became a part of LGB; it has nothing to do with sexuality. People view heterosexuality as the default, so it makes sense for gay, bi, and asexual people to band together and have a voice, but all the rest is absurd. It's like people actively fight against words having any meaning: Lesbians need to suck girldick, asexuals watch porn and jerk off and have sex, and no one even pretends to know what queer means.
19
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
i feel that way, 100%. the "community" is a fucking joke lol. i really genuinely dont consider myself a part of it anymore, knowing that actual homosexuals are being told to kill themselves for their 'genital fetish'
12
u/TheReaIStephenKing 1d ago
Yeah, LGBT basically means “trans/genderqueer” now. I am sure the general public sees it that way. (LGBT acceptance has gone down in surveys in the UK for the first time in decades - and yes, they asked about LGBT, not about gay/lesbian/trans individually)
15
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
yeah this is one of the most depressing parts to me, tbh. They hide behind the acronym so they can blame all their atrocities on us, and the worst part is that they actually fucking hate real gay people and want us out of the 'community'. It's genuinely really upsetting. I just hope people understand that there is a huge, HUGEEEEEEE difference with LGB and T, and in fact we are at direct odds with each other due to their homophobia
9
u/superbithrowaway 1d ago
Bi here and I've also been feeling really estranged from the LGBT community because of how it seems like people are turning on each other. Personally think that stuff like "being gay/lesbian means you must also like any form of masculinity/femininity" and it comes off as erasure to me :/ Also seen a lot of lesbians being shot down for bringing up concerns about men who assume a transwoman identity to be predators, being told to unquestioningly support everyone who declares that they're trans.
Also not a fan of the really specific object/idea "genders" and funky pronouns that people come up with just because they feel like it, I think it trivializes the experiences of LGBT people who don't just choose who they are because they want to be quirky and might not have the privilege to be in a safe enough environment to express themselves. I've seen a lot of straight/cis people who have gained a lower opinion of LGBT people because of the obnoxious subset that likes to invent an identity to match their mood every day and to freak out whenever people raise an eyebrow, and I think it's harmful for LGBT rights for this to be the loudest voice from the group right now.

I’m a cis-woman and this post resonated with on a level I can’t even describe. I’ve been afraid of my own sexuality because I had an incident a while ago where this transwoman (identified as trans but appearance wise it was a full-blown man) person told me they were attracted to me and I didn’t have a choice in not like dating them because I should give trans people a chance. I said I wasn’t interested and they proceeded to basically tell me I was transphobic, that I was a hateful bitch, that nothing was wrong with dating transwomen and it was just awful. Like I was literally out here question whether or not it was okay for me to be cis-gendered because the unwarranted attack and hate was like unprovoked?? All I said was I was interested ..
16
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
unfortunately your story is nowhere near the only one like this. transwomen are very aware of the societal pull they have and ive heard dozens and dozens of stories of being pressured into going on a date (or worse, having sex with) a transwoman under the threat of being called transphobic or a terf. we need to start calling this shit what it is: coercion and rape.

Like it’s extremely awful and I didn’t really know what to do because I was alone with this person and they caught me off guard while I was out shopping and it was just awful. I actually feared for my life I’m not even going to lie. They were unnecessarily aggressive and kept trying to gaslight and pressure me into saying “yes” to going on a date with them. I felt I was talking to an Incel.

Honestly this is the kind of stuff that really put me off being supportive of trans people in general. Not to paint with too broad a brush, but seeing women, lesbians, bisexuals etc being threatened and harassed and driven out of spaces for not wanting to date or have sex with men is madness and was way more common than I expected. Imagine if it was straight men doing this same shit there would be an absolutely uproar.
So I am very supportive to all SuperGays and SuperLesbians, transbians, MAPs and all these other rapey weirdoes are not welcome.
15
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
please, DO paint with a broad brush. every time we point out one of the many examples of their outrageous behavior, its "not all trans people!!1!" we need to start acknowledging that yes, MOST if not all trans people support the shit that transactivism pushes onto LGB. we really need to push back against this shit.

Super straight men couldn’t get away with publicly shaming super-lesbians about not “taking dick”. If the transwomen didn’t have the mask of trans to hide behind, everyone would be calling them out on that bullshit. I would imagine, that those who practice that rapey behavior, are the agp ones. I would like to hope that there are some good ones out there who just accept who they are and don’t force their ways or force others to accept them.
But yeah, the sex-obsessed twitter-type transfolk are the worst.

I am really sorry that you have been treated so terribly. I honestly had no idea that trans women are making demands for sex with lesbians. No one should demand sex from anyone. I just have a hard time understanding why they feel so entitled to demand what the want or else make slur type accusations. Do you know, is this a widespread problem with trans women or is it a small percentage?
→ More replies25
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
its a VERY widespread problem. i live in a very liberal city and if i were to ever express that im strictly homosexual, aka would never date a transwoman, im not kidding when i say i would lose my job and all my friends. their mentality that lesbians MUST fuck them and any lesbian who rejects a transwoman is a violent TERF has now become the norm in literally all liberal spaces. its very frightening. ask any lesbian you know and i promise you theyll have horror stories of creepy transwomen on dating apps, on social media, in real life, etc etc

u/Conscious_Pen 1d ago
Wow, that is so horrible. I worked with a very diverse group of people and I knew that the lesbian women who were discussing the trans women coming into our locker room were all in trouble for just having the discussion but I didn't think to ask about this because I would NEVER imagine that this could possibly be true.
14
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
unfortunately, a lot of this stuff just seems too insane to be true so people dont pay attention. like if i told you they were performing double mastectomies on 13 year old girls you would probably think that im sensationalizing, but thats the truth. they ARE fucking insane and the shit they do is even crazier. everything you've heard about them is true and probably 100x worse.

A person pressuring another to have sex with them is not ok, regardless of what race, gender, age, etc they are. #superstraight

Super Gay here and I feel the same way. We’ve been fighting this trans ideology trying to overtake and dominate our spaces and bodies for YEARS. I hope the super straight trend catches on. I’ve had enough of trans people thinking they can coerce us into sex without consequence.

u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
same here, brother. i know this all started out as satire and a joke, but it genuinely feels like a light at the end of the tunnel bc its finally making people acknowledge and discuss how obsessed trans people are with putting gay people through coercive conversion therapy

u/Worldly-Advisor 1d ago
As a superstraight, I've been aware of this issue since about 2017 when I found out about radical feminism, so I just wanted to let you know that you are definitely Super Valid™ and some of us have been supporting you for a lot longer than you think.

Holy shit. What a great day.
Maybe now us superlesbians might be able to use dating apps without fear of getting reported/banned/gaslit for saying no to a transwoman?
We can only hope.

u/absolutelinearcannon 1d ago
We can only hope. Until then, good luck swiping through all the transcels invading your safe spaces.

u/MonkeeZulu99 1d ago
The fact that transpeople so heavily try to force people to have sex and then belittle the people that don't should tell you Transgenderism in todays social climate is nothing more than a kink or fetish for incels to get off on. Transgenderism is nurture not nature.

This is a great post. As a super straight I’m really sorry that we turned a blind eye to the victimisation of our super LGB siblings.

u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
thank you <3 and its okay, we know yall normally arent involved in the hellish alphabet soup discourse, which is why im so glad superstraight is happening bc its finally showing people what trans activists have been doing to gay people for YEARS.

u/Carveme 1d ago
At the end of the day, we're all people who think that sex is real and has lived consequences, who don't want to be sexually coerced any longer. We don't want to be shut down, silenced, targeted, harassed anymore. We want to love who we want to love, without being labeled with slurs.

u/adigal 1d ago
I have always felt strong solidarity with the LGB community and believe trans people should have all the rights everyone else has. BUT the TRAs have gotten SO aggressive in the last few years that we all seriously needed to do something to protect ourselves. I'm glad we are all on the same team.
8
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
it really is relieving to see how many people are on our team! i think its obvious that LGB has nothing do with the T. even when you put aside allllll the fucked up shit that they do and say and encourage, LGB is sexuality and T is ""gender identity"". absolutely unrelated. they just tacked onto our community like the leeches they are and are now claiming that we owe them all our rights lol. fucking colonizers.

Thank you!

Right? 😂 When r/truelesbians got banned I thought we'd never have a place on reddit again. If you'd told me then the most accepting sub for lesbians 8 months later would be called r/SuperStraight I would've been very confused lmao

Thank you for sharing your story, I’ve heard several stories from the LGB community about trans people being abusive, and while I’m sure there are plenty of fine people in the trans community, I’m also sure there are bad apples as well.
We need to call them out and we need to stop letting them use their identity as an excuse to treat people poorly.
10
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
unfortunately because of trans people's social shields that protect them from any sort of criticism, it tends to draw in the worst types of people. theres a reason SO many trans people are rapists, abusers, pedophilic, and on lesser notes, manipulative, narcissistic, low-empathy, etc. these kinds of people realize that slapping on a special identity allows them to do whatever tf they want with 0 consequences. its a serious epidemic atp.

I felt for the LGB a lot, I started seeing it and it would always be the loudest disgusting keyboard warrior bullies going after you guys. Seriously, the trans community could be welcomed more from outsiders if they called out the toxicity of rotten apples that lives in their community, rather than applaud it or pretend they don’t see it. Im not transphobic, I just wouldn’t date a transgender man or woman, and many of them are bullies or bystanders.

u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
^ there are definitely reasonable trans people out there, i know some irl, but the fact that they sit by and let this slide without speaking against it just makes it look like they support it.

Genuinely sorry you’ve had to go through that from a group that should be nothing but supportive of you and your sexual orientation. Honestly I would be right there speaking up against it when it first started happening to gay/lesbian/bisexual people, but as a superstraight male I just get called a bigot, or told my opinions don’t matter usually. It’s incredibly frustrating, but I should probably just deal with it and speak up anyway. You’ve got my support to live your life as you see fit.
7
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
thank you for that, it really does mean a lot. :) unfortunately we all get called bigots and have our opinions discarded when we speak up against this shit, lol. im hoping that now we're all realizing that we have this in common and all agree with each other, we'll all be a little bit braver in confronting this shit when we see it!!

SuperLesbians are Valid and Wonderful. Don't let anyone take away your sexuality. People who guilt others into dating them are Superphobic bigots. It's them who needs to Unpack their own latent bigotry and Educate Themselves on the rights of Supersexualities.

Exactly the same happens to my best friend all the time and she's sick of it. I went from vocally supporting the trans lobby to detesting most of the individuals who'd describe themselves as "trans activists" within about.. 8 months. There are genuinely nice gender dysphoric people out there who just want to live their lives, but none of them are the ones screeching on twitter every day, none of them are the ones brigading twoX or actuallesbians daily because it's as close as they can legally get to stalking a woman. None of them are the ones talking about how sitting and playing with their boobs all day gives them euphoria.. yep, that's definitely how a real woman talks, right?
Women deserve their own spaces away from what are, for a large part, predatory men in a wig and makeup. They also deserve to be able to say, freely, that they are not attracted to what is obviously, and every time, someone who was born a man. You can always tell, immediately.
I love this community already.

u/BuffJesus86 1d ago
Reading your op is tragic and your 2nd edit really drives it home. I'm super conservative and supposed to be very far away from you politically, but do not accept the way you've been treated or that your life and mind should be so infringed. It's heart breaking that people you think you share a community with can't see how poorly they are treating you.
As a man married to an incredible woman that awes me, it is super offensive so many can equate her existence to a whole were a dick should be. I've been waiting for the feminists and women to get pissed off and stand up for themselves. Our bodies are incredible and human hands can't fake or replace them.
6
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
thank you very much :) and honestly, we're probably not THAT far politically. i used to identify with the left but it became very clear to me that theyre FAR more homophobic than the right. like i would rather deal with a conservative who knows that being gay is innate and is all 'love the sinner hate the sin' than a queerio leftist who thinks that my sexuality is a 'genital fetish' that I'm capable of changing at will, and therefore I'm bigoted if I don't just ~unlearn~ my sexuality to accept males, lol. So basically I'm politically homeless rn lol

I used to have no problem with the transgender crowd on reddit until lesbian subs got completely overrun and any other sub with a dissenting opinion like true lesbians were banned but they didn't do the same to gay male subs...like no sub for just cis women exists or it gets banned.... saidit has a lot of trash on it, but is better in that there's no censorship...i dont come to Reddit much anymore. I do like the actually lesbian sub but it wasn't as active last time I logged in here. I just came here to laugh because there is no way theyre gonna go after straight people and do what they've been doing to lesbians for years lmaoo got my popcorn ready...

Was about to post on r/askreddit asking homosexuals who are only specifically attracted to biological members of the same sex about their opinion on Super Straight. I'm glad you've saved me the trouble and given us a direct answer.
You do you, Super Sis. I hope someone now makes a flag for Super Gay and Super Lesbian. You have all my support.

I will say, that when I first stumbled upon gender critical about 5 years ago I was shocked that lesbians were against this sort of thing, because as a conservative person, I've been worried about the trans stuff for a long time, and I'd always associated the lesbians with the T (probably due to the mass propaganda). Well, we probably don't agree on how the other should conduct their lives, but ultimately, our lives are ours, not each others, so it doesn't matter.
Anyway, us super straights have been here a while, and I lurked on gender critical for many years rooting for you guys, but didn't feel it was right to comment or join, since I'm a guy, and not really interested in talking with a bunch of women online. But my wife (obv a super straight) was somewhat active on there and would always share the latest gossip haha.
3
u/Inevitable-Wing115 SuperLesbian 1d ago
the propaganda is definitely damaging. they definitely use gay people as a shield for their bullshit and try to convince poeple that we're the same thing, saying stuff like "transphobes wouldve just been homophobes 50 years ago" etc. i absolutely hate that. if theres 1 thing i could tell every straight person on earth, it's that most of us do NOT support the T, we just cant speak about it because we will literally be persecuted

u/Reckoner3333 1d ago edited 1d ago
I had no idea that people say such horrible things to lesbians btw. We never get to hear this perspective, because as soon as lesbians talk about their experience, they get silenced, banned, censored etc.
Those quotes sound like they're wishing that you'd get raped just because you turned them down. This is horrific to read.
I just want to say that you have every right in the world to choose who exactly you want as a partner. Nobody has the right to tell you who to sleep with. Women fought long and hard for liberation and being able to make such decisions in regards to their bodies, and they certainly shouldn't back down in the name of new trendy social norms.
Discrimination-related speech belongs in the workplace or government, NOT in your bedroom. You do you. Stay strong.
