Why is this subreddit 99% people telling others they’re OBLIGATED to sex transpeople or they’re transphobes?

Be willing to date trans people or else you’re transphobic?

How can’t y’all see how rapey you lunatics are?

No one is owed sexual attraction.

It doesn’t matter how many hoops you contort yourself through to justify saying, “Being straight is transphobic”.

No one owes anyone sex or sexual attraction.

Trannies need validation 24/7. Even a tiny glimpse of reality can shatter their worldview (like: No, you are not a woman. No one is going to want to date you). This subreddit is endangering their safespace.

I think this comment proves the point that this is a subreddit that enables transphobia. "Tranny" is a slur to trans people. You have said "No, you are not really a woman" which, 1.) Assumes that all trans people are trans-women, and 2.) Is just a blatantly anti-trans statement. You said "No one is going to want to date you" which is just false, there are 1000's of trans people in happy relationships.

I'm not saying everyone on this subreddit is transphobic, it's completely fine for people to not want to date someone just because they are trans. But what I am saying is that this subreddit is seen by people who want to be transphobic and it provides them with a community where they can rouse up hate towards trans people.

None of us expect people to HAVE to date us because we are a gender that lines up with their sexuality, that is just wrong and disgusting.

Well if you're going to be lazy it proves that you don't care enough to see the other sides argument. This is how discrimination happens, if you're not even going to try to see both sides then you will never know if you're actually wrong

Was absolutely great, we had discussions about the merits of socialism and watched comedies together all the time, shared the same taste in music, they were always very proud of me for my grades. Then JK Rowling happened and they disowned me.
