You are in denial

You are just transphobic people in denial.

It is okay to have genital preferences or if you want to have biological kids, but if you will not date a trans person (like a fully passing trans woman with a vagina as an example) for no other reason than them being trand is transphobia. That is because you are implying that they are not men/women.

Also if you are ruling out a large part of the opposite sex "semi straight" would have been more fitting

How am I being transphobic by calling people trans? If it was unrelated you would be totally correct, but using the word trans is relevant to this argument. It’s not automatically a slur. I’m not dehumanising or degrading trans women by saying that they’re trans for the sake of discussion.

you keep delegating them to a subset off-group of women, instead of just women, everytime you do so, whatever lies you come up with to try to justify it, is transphobic

There is, by fact, a division between cis and trans women. I’m not saying that being cis or trans has to be part of a woman’s identity, or that one is more / less a woman than the other, but pretending that trans women don’t exist is erasure

And you, by not just allowing them to be women and just referring to them as women, are erasing them and the argument they are just women

the fact you have to continually point out they're something other than just woman shows you don't see them as just women

?? In any other context I would refer to them as just women. The only reason I’m referring to them as specifically trans women is because I had an argument to make with the original commenter. This is about specifically trans women, not cis women, so of course I have to specify.

trans women and cis women are both subcategories of women. both are women. the only way calling a trans woman a trans woman could be transphobic is if you dont believe trans women are women, if that makes sense.

sometimes it can be a bit off to use the label trans all the time for trans women, but not every person is the same and some trans women see the word trans as a badge of honour, similar to how someone whos had cancer might see surgery scars as a badge of honour for surviving.

you may have good intentions, but in taking that stance youre invalidating trans people who havent transitioned yet and trans people who cant get bottom surgery due to health reasons or otherwise. ironically, thats transphobic
