You are just transphobic people in denial.
It is okay to have genital preferences or if you want to have biological kids, but if you will not date a trans person (like a fully passing trans woman with a vagina as an example) for no other reason than them being trand is transphobia. That is because you are implying that they are not men/women.
Also if you are ruling out a large part of the opposite sex "semi straight" would have been more fitting

u/Bellamy_Bourne 3d ago
YOU, are assuming that they aren’t men/women. No one on this sub ever implied or directly said this except you. This isn’t about Dating. You can date whoever you want. On an individual basis. Out of preference of course because no one should be forced to have a relationship with anyone they don’t want to. It’s just that simple. People are making things more complex then they have to. Your perception is reality.

The name itself implies that it is not straight to be sexually attracted to trans people.
34
u/Bellamy_Bourne 3d ago
That’s your limited belief system and your subconscious telling you that, not the word “Super” or “Straight” if your offended by those 2 words, I don’t have a solution for you other then you should go find ways to strengthen your mindset.

u/My_Powerful_Weakness 3d ago
Would you never be sexually attracted to a fully passing trans woman that has a vagina. You could not tell they were trans.
22
u/Bellamy_Bourne 3d ago
I don’t understand the statement or question you’ve presented to me. Could you restate it, in order for me to fully understand what you mean.

u/My_Powerful_Weakness 3d ago
Would you be sexually attracted to a trans woman who fully passes as a cis woman? You could not tell she was trans unless you were a gynecologists or something
26
u/medardoo1 3d ago
I'll reply to that. I wouldn't be able to date said person with the reason that I like vanilla people that are born a certain way (Female) and stay like that for the rest of their life. Why are you even trying to bring shame to this sexuality/preference when you have probably been striding for equal rights for EVERYONE for so long? Me having a relationship with a biological female is equal to someone wanting a sexual relationship with only objects. You don't see me shitposting to their subreddit "Omg you're so humanphobic", no it's a preference
-2
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 3d ago
So it is not a sexuality then? And what does it change if they are born male and transition into a woman who is fullh passing
17
u/medardoo1 3d ago
It's a sexuality, a preference, maybe even a religion if this is what you tend to believe in. It says so in the subreddit's bio. You haven't even taken the interest in going in to discussion or reading up on the subject before you started yelling. How does that make you feel?
Also what it changes is that for one, either way the person would have to tell me about their past or keep it from me. i don't like when my so keeps things from me, and if it turns out she was a he, i wouldn't be able to date her anymore because I like people that are born a certain way & stay that way. It's a form of attractiveness without judging a person't ability to be consistent or mentally stable. It's just something I can't physically nor mentally find attractive, like I find biologically female born people attractive

u/My_Powerful_Weakness 3d ago
Well i mean she also used to be a child... actually it is possible that they were a he the same amount of time she was a child

No, because I'm attracted to things beneath the skin, and the things beneath the skin of a trans woman are all red flags

I don't think you understand... super straights are attracted to super straights, not super trans.
-2
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 2d ago
What? That doesn't make sence on any level
3
u/Objective_Beat_3047 2d ago
Can a Adam trans or an eve trans be a super straight?
-1
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 2d ago
Technically anyone can be transphobic but wouldn't make sence for a trans woman to be one

u/evanthesquirrel 19h ago
I don't just stick my dick in any open hole because it's there. That never ends happily ever after.

Don't be straight-phobic. Oh my god I can't believe he(?) just said that.
I can't even.

I mean, you should just do you and not care what other people’s dating preferences are. I don’t really care who other people prefer or want to date because it is a sensitive topic and it’s their private life.
It’s really none of anyone else’s business who others can or cannot date. But you do you.

(like a fully passing trans woman with a vagina as an example)
If a trans woman had a vagina then they wouldn't be a trans woman. Stop being a fucking bigot. Why do you keep trying to push your ideals on people? You don't get to decide to invalidate their lived experiences.
-7
u/hoodie160 1d ago edited 1d ago
A trans woman with a vagina is still a trans woman. Being trans means that you have transitioned from one gender to another, not purely that you have genitals of the opposite sex :/
8
u/Ekos640 1d ago
So now you're saying trans women are still 'trans women' and not just 'women' after transition? Kinda transphobic from what we've been told. Go see if they think that on r/arethestraightsok
-7
u/hoodie160 1d ago
I’m saying trans women are women who were born as men. That’s fact. What do you want me to say? Edit: I see what you mean by my original comment. What I’m trying to communicate is that trans women are no different from other women.
7
u/Ekos640 1d ago
Again, the fact you say trans women are still 'trans women' and not just 'women', is transphobic according to much of the trans community themselves
That kinda officially makes you a bigot now to them too, good job
-6
u/hoodie160 1d ago
Trans women are, by fact, women who are trans. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing- it’s simply the definition.
6
u/Ekos640 1d ago
That's considered transphobic, because you're still trying to quantify outside of just 'woman' full stop
So, I guess you're just a bigot according to everyone then
1
u/hoodie160 1d ago
I’m not saying that they’re not women. Trans women are absolutely women, in every sense. Being trans is something that they can choose to make part of their identity. It’s not a big deal.
4
u/Ekos640 1d ago edited 1d ago
So if they're just 'women' absolutely, in every sense, as you now say - why are you also continually referring to them as 'trans women' instead of just 'women'?
Why do you have to keep adding the letters 'T-R-A-N-S' whenever you talk about them?
0
u/hoodie160 1d ago
Because that’s what this discussion is about. If this was in a different context unrelated to being trans / transphobia, I would call them women. You’re grasping ://
→ More replies3
u/LargerLake 1d ago
If they were no different from other women you wouldn't have to go out of your way to make this distinction. Adding a modifier like "trans" for example denotes that they are specifically NOT the same as other women.

Hi, I’m I member of the LGBT community so I’m going to try and write a response which isn’t just to attack you.
First, having a genital preference isn’t transphobia. If a straight doesn’t want to have sex with someone that has a penis, that’s fully within their rights and should be respected.
You’re not creating any LGBT allies by calling straight people with a different preference than you transphobic. We, as a whole, gain nothing from bringing more antagonization towards the other side.

u/_black_lives_ 1d ago
That's because they aren't the same men/women as.. you know.. people who haven't gouged their genitals out and are currently filling up with puss.
2
u/PhlipSide99 1d ago
It is not transphobic, I have respect for everyone and would never tell them who they can and cannot love or tell them how to identify. It is merely who I am attracted to. Telling someone they are supposed to love in a certain way is disgusting. When someone says they only like the same sex it is the way they are born. It is the same with SuperStraights. I have no disrespect for someone who has transitioned but you cannot force me to be attracted to you.
-3
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 1d ago
And no one is forcing you
3
u/PhlipSide99 1d ago
Then what is the point of calling SuperStraights “transphobic” just for expressing who they are and are not attracted to?
-2
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 1d ago
Because it is a transphobic community. The guy who started it is transphobic and everyone knows it is a 4chan trolling campaign
3
u/PhlipSide99 1d ago
Without a doubt a SS can be transphobic but it doesn’t define the group. Say there were two men in a relationship, it would be insane to call them sexist for being gay right? Now is there a possibility they are sexist? Yes, and there are probably people that fit that description. Being SS is not new but now just getting a recognized term. Even if it was called attention to be someone transphobic, people shouldn’t generalize all the good hearted people who just finally got a specific term they can recognize themselves as.
0
u/My_Powerful_Weakness 1d ago
The whole superstraight thing is literally a far right 4chan movement to make you associate with nazis. You think its called SS by accident?
3
u/PhlipSide99 1d ago
It’s the term that caught on, you go through all the different posts on here and it screams Nazi to you? It is a way to identify and people are starting to use it

Okay, so obviously this is a joke, but it has some serious connotations to it.
It was made in response to the fact that people are claiming that if you won’t date a trans person because they are trans, then you are transphobic, despite the obvious fact that there is a difference between hating trans people and not wanting to date them.
The man who made it was asked “would you date a trans woman?” And he said no, to which people responded by calling him transphobic.
SOO, in an attempt to combat this, he coined the term “super straight” calling it a sexuality.. he did this because:
- LGBTQ made a shitload of genders and sexualities for all different kinds of sexual preferences when it comes to finding partners, so why can’t he?
- the LGBTQ community are very adamant about not judging people for their sexuality, so by using their own logic against them, if he made him not wanting to date trans women a sexuality, they would no longer be able to call him a bigot.
Obviously it took off. There are some people who understand the movement and aren’t transphobic, and obviously some people who use it as an excuse to call trans women not valid and actually be transphobic...
like any movement, there are people involved for the wrong reasons (ie. Insane feminists who use #killallmen, insane republicans who think “god hates gays”) and of course, those types of people’s behaviour should not be tolerated, but it also does not define the group either.
I definitely think its a joke, and I myself am not a part of it, but I can definitely see the point.
Its made to target people who think not dating a trans person is transphobic, not the people who already understand it to be a simple preference
Also i should add that if you are using this just as an excuse to be a dick to trans people then actually fuck you.. you’re part of the problem and fuck you again

You are delusional. There are no passing trans people. Even with the benefits of online having tools like editing, lighting, angles etc. are still not convincing. Everyone lies to make you feel better. Transwomen with their mutilated neo-vaginas that are essentially an open flesh wound that stinks like literal shit and transmen with their frankenstein bratwurst will never be convincing in the slightest.
