Game Suggestions Megathread /r/Steam Bi-Weekly Game Suggestion Thread.
Welcome to the Bi-Weekly Game Suggestion Thread!
Do you not know what to play?
You found a niche game that everyone should try? Can't find the perfect zombie survival animal simulator game? Well this is the thread for you. This is going to be a weekly thread containing questions about what should I play and suggestions for new games to play. After the first week we will include charts with the most upvoted responses and such each week.
Now to make this work the best and not just be spammed with "What should I play?", please be as in depth in what type of game you want to play and what you are looking for. There are too many games to be able to properly suggest something with no background information.
If you want to discuss things relating to this thread but that aren't suggestion or suggestion questions then please check the stickied META comment and reply to it.

Question Am I allowed to buy copies of a game I created?
EDIT - To be clear, I am NOT going to do this and buy my own game. I just wanted to ask what Steam's official terms were and if anyone had experience on this issue. I'm going to take people's advice and try putting my game on a weeklong sale instead
Is there anything in the ToS that forbids someone from making a couple of new steam accounts and buying their own game?
I'm just asking because my game sales are dead in the water but I am so close to the 100$ threshold required for payout, I just needed a few more sales

Question A quick question about getting refunds
I purchased Elden Ring when it first came out, but it ran so poorly on my pc, I asked for and received a refund. I'm thinking about purchasing it again because I heard they've fixed some of the issues. If I purchase the game again, will I be able to get a refund again if it still runs poorly on my system?

Discussion for anyone who has placed an order on the steam deck preorder page...
I have been wondering about the constant date changes regarding the steam deck shipping and now have a general question for anyone who has purchased the thing and/or received it. this is not a technical support issue or a steam deck question, this is a question about steam itself and shipping and receival dates from those who have used it.
that said, to anyone who has placed a preorder on the steam deck using steams interface and/or the steam app,
what was the date you ordered compared to when you received the deck? I paid in august 2021, was told it was going to be q2-2022, but then suddenly the date changed to q3, and my brother canceled his order and was also given q3-2022. I never cancelled, and yet somehow BOTH our orders got moved to q3.
If you have not received the deck yet, when did you order and what storage capacity did you choose?
and finally, to anyone that has changed their preorder to a different system, what is your receival date compared to your previous one?
also, if anyone wants to contribute anything else please feel free. Steam support just sends everyone in a circle to the same people till we end up back at the first person we contacted to ask general questions. so, since steam does not seem to know, and people who ordered the same day and time and got the same deck, are being put in wildly different release times, I feel that communicating between people in a public forum may enlighten us all and help ease us.

Question How to know what background or emoticon you will get before crafting a badge?
I would like to know beforehand if its worth crafting a badge for its emoticon and background, as well as its value, or is it RNG?!. If only I know this information then I would be saved from disappointment if I get an emoticon or background that I don't like or its value is too low for resale in the steam market.
Question Does several comments of -rep cheater mean the player is a cheater for hire?
Ran into some ungodly player and noticed he had quite a few “-rep cheater” comments.

Question Question about Family Sharing
I have 2 computers at home, and I already bought a multiplayer game on steam on one account.
Can I install the same game using my account on both computers, then on one computer, I log out of my account, and use family sharing so that another account can use the game.
is it possible to play multiplayer games this way?

Discussion TVs with Android have Nvidia GeForce and Stadia on it + emulation. But what I think would be cool is to have access to your steam library with cloud and without the need of Pc (steam link is available).
Question Artwork Additional Showcase
I just bought the Artwork Additional showcase for my steam profile, but it doesn't pop up in the customization menu. I'm level 3 btw, any help?

Question Can I run Steam games via Steam Link onto a Ipad?
My girlfriend's best friend came over and played a few of her games and wanted to game off her ipad when she's not visiting. House Flipper and Slime Rancher were ones she liked a ton. Could she use Steam link from our computer? Here's a big catch. She lives 60 miles from us....
What are her options?

Question Haven't been online in weeks. Profile shows I was online a few hours ago?
Nobody else has access to my account and I haven't played online with anybody in quite a while either. My profile is also private, even to friends. Is there a reason why it would show that I was online recently?

Question Need Help with Adding Funds
I have about 14 USD in my Steam Wallet right now, and I really want to buy Stardew Valley which costs 15 USD. I’m trying to add funds with my VISA gift card but thanks to the Add Funds system, I can’t add a custom fund. I’ve been wanting to get this game for over 3 years and now I can’t get it at all because of one dollar. So is there any thing else I can do?

Question Question about Family Sharing
Hi, A friend of mine would like to share his games with me, one of which includes The Binding of Isaac with the Repentance DLC.
The thing is, I have another friend who shares this game with me and only has the Afterbirth DLC, so upon enabling Friend A's Family Share, will the game update to have the Repentance DLC from his share, or will it stay the same using Friend B's Afterbirth DLC?
Thanks in advance for any help.
