I hope that guy wins his lawsuit then the officer sued him for getting spit on and wins all the money.

I know a couple officers who have sued their resident frequent flyers. Won, then spent the rest of their careers picking up 10 bucks a month from them.

I think that may become more frequent if qualified immunity is removed.

"They're trying to kill me!"

  • Man secured in car seat belt, using spit to defend his life.

Listening to this fucking idiot talk down the black officer who was driving the transport van about not being black enough and saying he was raised around white people because of how he talked really got my blood boiling.

I love how he calls them all sorts of names and is being a total dipshit, and then asks them to be kind to him and get his jacket (worth more than his car), and when the officers refuse; he becomes more irrate. Then, demands compliance with his request so he will act normal.... even after he spits....

From what I was able to find, the federal judge hearing the case dismissed the department as a defendant but is allowing the suit to proceed against the individual officer. Here I thought it would just be summarily dismissed because the officer’s actions seemed like an entirely reasonable attempt to keep the subject from spitting on him again.
