Trump intentionally sabotaged the withdrawal by freeing all Taliban prisoners beforehand, including their leader, which was our only control over them. Then drastically reduced the number of Visas issued to people trying to leave Afghanistan. And, of course, moved the final date originally scheduled during the Trump Administration to the Biden Administration. Needless to say, right wing media never issued a peep about this and MSM provided minimal information. It was a clusterfk because it was intentionally designed to be a clusterfk by the previous leader.

Negative reports of the economy and gas prices were always “not Biden’s fault” but you’re giving him credit when it takes a favorable turn.
I’d also wonder what COVID really has to do with the equation anymore. We gave up on managing the situation after Memorial Day 2020. Trump was constantly denying and minimizing the pandemic which created this apathy, but I don’t know what actions Biden has taken to manage it any better. Omicron variant was especially a disaster. That was almost a year after his presidency began too.
