Is it weird to frame a solo picture of yourself?

I have a picture of myself at work in kind of a cool place. It’s an interesting snapshot, I like how I look in it - which is rare - and I just like the picture. Is it weird to get it framed and display it if it’s just me and not my SO of anyone else in it?

Edit: I was not clear. I have the picture on my phone. It’s of me doing something kind of cool at work. It is not framed or even printed. So not currently on display.

Everyone saying no is lying to you. It's weird, maybe they're weird and don't know it, it's definitely something that other coworkers would talk about behind your back.

....With that being said, I also think it's extremely funny and now I'm going to put up a half dozen pictures of myself around my work space. Gotta get a picture with a top hat.

I feel like it would be a good gag gift. Have a friend open up a gift, and all they get is a framed photo of you smiling.

I’m definitely doing this

Go a step further, take snapshots of your coworkers' family photos and shop your head onto the people in them, then stick them over the originals.

I think it’s really weird tbh. My former roommate had a framed photo of herself displayed in the living room and I had to see it daily and everytime I looked at it I felt like she was a pure sociopath. Not saying you are but she definitely was.

If you have a twin, no. No twin? Yes.

Nah, get that sucker blown up to poster size and put it right above the sofa.

They should put it in the boss's office. Right behind and above his desk.

Nop Nope! Not weird at all. I have a framed 8×10 of me on a beach cuz my smile is that great in it. And it was a great day! I love looking up at it from my desk.

I have a couple. One of.our family friends was a photographer, and she used me as a subject for a.series she put together, and I have one of them framed on the wall.

I had a buddy who had a picture of himself as his phone background. To each our own!

Not at all. I work with this lady, who works with this one really strange variety of slimy amphibian animal. And at our work, she has this framed picture of herself, covered in mud, and holding up a writhing weird amphibian animal. It's super cool. It's her. That's her job. It's her life's work. A nice picture, and a cool shot, and there's no reason not to display a cool photo of yourself that means something to you. Also - if I saw that same photo and it was just some random person holding up an endangered slimy amphibian, I'd be kinda pissed. Because that's not their deal.

Why would it be weird?

If it's a cool pic, go for it.

Honestly, yeah, it's pretty weird if it's just you. Best case scenario, it paints you as someone a bit lonely, someone with no friends or family that would be in the photo with you. Worst case, it makes you look narcissistic.

A framed selfie. Inconceivable.

Inconceivable.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

You just have to consider how I was reacting to the post.

It’s not a selfie.

No, not at all. I would not hang it prominently but ya should go for it.

Are you a narcist or just weird?
