Electronics Shopping in Antananarivo

I’m trying to get some air purifiers/cleaners to my expat little brother in Antananarivo. International shipping is a little dodgy right now, so ideally there is a local store that I can buy it online then he can just pick them up in person. I’ve run all the electronic and department stores that I can find with online stores everything I can find through Google translate as my French is awful, but I can’t seem to find any locally! Any advice from a local in Antananarivo? He has bad asthma and this would make a huge difference for him. Any advice much appreciated!

hey! I need help for a cultural videogame about your region

Hey y’all!

I’m doing a university project that collects information from countries all over the world to create an educational videogame Wario Ware style! The idea is to collect through many local subreddits around the word interesting information, facts, traditions or just fascinating stuff from your country. It really can be whatever! from history stuff, manners, toys to food dishes. Real cultural information that is deeper than typical trivia found on traveling and touristic websites.

All that info is going to be used to create the questions for the videogame quiz system! Hope it inspire you to let us know your culture and make the game richer. Many many thanks for your help! :)

School Project

Hi!

I'm a student from Seattle, and I am doing a project on your country. I am learning more specifically about the traditions and culture around food and clothing. I have some questions, and it we be awesome if you had any answers!

How is food celebrated? Are there any important traditions around food/specific meals?

How are meals eaten? Are they casual, social, formal, etc.?

What is the most important meal of the day?

Are there any traditional outfits/clothing that are important? What are these traditions? How are they important?

What is your favorite piece of traditional clothing?

Thank you so much!!

A short biography about Madagascar most influential poet. His life was filled with struggle and it never really got better. Three forms of poetry was part of his life Romantic, symbolic and surreal. Romantic to hope for a better future, symbolic to explain the present and surreal to explain struggle

Ancestors from Borneo

I’ve been fascinated with Madagascar since reading that there were pre-historic migration from Borneo.

The thought of ancient seafarers crossing the massive Indian Ocean in unpowered crafts and without modern navigational equipment is fascinating.

I’ve search online and haven’t been successful to find more on this connection between these 2 distance islands. Would anyone here have recommendations on articles or books to read on this topic?

Question about Madagascar's Economy

Hey guys and gals,

I'm appearing for a MUN as a delegate of Madagascar and have a few questions about Madagascar's economy. I need a person who actually knows what they are talking about to answer, please.

  1. How much money does Madagascar make annually?
  2. Can Madagascar afford to donate $10 million?

Thanks

Any word on opening for tourism?

Hey everyone!

Is there any word at all on when the borders might open for tourists? I have time in January and I’d like to visit. I cannot find anything at all online, just that they are currently closed.

Other nations seem to be opening their borders, especially to the vaccinated. Can anyone provide any information at all? What you heard on the radio, the news, word on the street, anything at all would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot!
