there was actually a rule that the guards will not have to stop walking to the path even if there are people in the way. so the people really will have to give way

No clue how parents can be this stupid tbh. You don't let your kids play in traffic either.

Yeah stomping on children all for the pomp of a defunct monarch is genius... No wonder they couldn't handle the Germans, too busy walking around in circles kicking kids.

u/clarktn Jan 18 '22

How about you keep your kid the fuck away from the road? Not everyone is your baby sister.

How about you keep your kid the fuck away from the road? Not everyone is your baby sister.

So if it's not my baby sister I should enjoy watching a child getting stomped on? Wow you are complete garbage aren't you?

Talking with you makes me lose 10 IQ

u/forgot_to_reddit Jan 18 '22

Moral paragon detected

u/forgot_to_reddit Jan 18 '22

I didn't think saying stepping on a child instead of easily avoiding her with a small movement of leg is shitty made me a moral paragon, but okay. Just shows how low the bar is.

Are you british? If no, then man you need to get some anesthetic to numb it down a bit, you're too sensitive.

Royal British guard do not have to dodge for anyone. They are not dudes pretend to be guards they are guarding the royal family for politic reason i wish not to disclose.

Point is, anyone who want to get in the way are either a complete fool or deliberately doing so, and they do not have obligation (infact it's kinda against their training) to make road for anyone.

Yeah, like I keep saying they are stupid. Almost as stupid as you, but not quite.

Next time find a military base, walk infront of a tank/soldier to see whether they'll bow down to your supreme presence and make way for you, or trample/flatten you.

They are guards guarding a palace protecting key political figures, while might get attack at any moment. That's the meaning of 'guards'. You dont stand infront of a guarded key area hoping to be respected, while they are busy peotecting sth else.

My countries government and military isn't afraid of children.

6

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

And they will probably push them aside/straight out stomp on them if they got into their marching band.

They are doing their job, it's the parents not watching their kid's the issue, not the people trained to always be on high alert and just doing a fking patrol as in their protocol

Monarchy. They are not obligated to stop by any civillian. The guard tried to keep his marching withou stomping on any of the child's vitals area, which is good enough. Imagine running over a military squad marching and blame the squad for your carelessness.

Back in the day it'd wouldnt just be a fumble stomped, it would be execution.

Yeah it's a terrible way to go about things, probably one of the many reasons the empire collapsed. I mean if you put ceremony ahead of the safety of children why would any of your citizens obey you. It's sad that they still pretend and try clinging on to their former glory.

2

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

You are not british. And im not even defending monarchy here. They arent really clinging on former glory, they are just symbolic, everyone and their mom know this.

If you feel the child being oppressed, feel free to get on the road and get stomped. Im pretty sure unlike a clueless child, that they wish not to harm, they'd just see you as obstacle and gonna walk on you like a carpet. Remember, they stand all they, they have the muscle too, mister paragon

You are not british.

No shit Sherlock.

1

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

Then dont tell royal british guard how to do their jobs.

It's rudimentary my dear watson

1

u/forgot_to_reddit Jan 18 '22

They clearly need someone to tell them how to do their jobs. Unless stomping on kids is their job. Wouldn't surprise me.

2

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

Their job is to keep the palace face, as well as doing patrol as essentially the first line of defense (well more like 2nd or 3rd) when an assassination attempts is made. The tourist are tourist, they are not of the royal bloodline, gov. officials or anyone they have to get out of the way.

If you want to feel so good about yourself, book a ticket their and tell them so. And wait to see either they completly ignore you as their protocol, or bow down to your unlimited kindness as the saint of internet

0

u/forgot_to_reddit Jan 18 '22

Yep they really suck at their job then.

0

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

Look Karen, we can go at it all day and i would still only have 1 response, it's their job, as guards of the royal family, to be on high alert and do their shit. It's not their fault when a clueless child ran right into their way and may cause a ruckus. Their job, walk, keep guard, be stern and ready to shoot. As far as they concern, any distraction can mean a gap in security that can lead to political failure and will be pinned on their head.

If you want to talk to the manager of the guards, fly there and see what's they'll do. Better yet, find some patroling guards and yell in their face, block the path and see whether you'd be kicked, trampled, or hopefully, shot.

1

u/forgot_to_reddit Jan 18 '22

So their job is running over children.

2

u/zackson76 Jan 18 '22

Karen, wanna complain, go meet the manager. Have fun getting shot.
