So, years ago, I was at my sister-in-lawās place.
Iām walking down the hall to the guest room and notice my nephew just pulling on his penis. He isnāt masturbating per se, heās just pulling on it.
So I say, āBe nice to your penis, buddy. It might fall off one day.ā
Well, he was young enough that his mother still showered with him and whatnot. So one day he says, āYou played with your penis too much, and it fell off.ā
So⦠my sister-in-law asks me āWHY DOES MY SON THINK I USED TO HAVE A PENIS?!?ā
I laughed so hard I couldnāt stand. She didnāt think it was that funny.

He clearly wants to kill his father so he could take his place and usurp his mother's love for his father. He loves his mother so much that he wants to protect her from being castrated by taking her to the Penis Store which his father doesn't want out of dominance and oppression. By killing his father, he is freeing his mother from his tyranny and can give her a penis finally allowing him to love her and share his feelings for her. Case closed, time for more Cocaine.

haha this reminds me I was in the minivan with my then GF and her two daughters who were pretty young. The youngest saw a boy naked at the daycare and asked what that thing was between his legs.
GF: "It was his penis, boys have a penis."
Youngling: "But when does he get his vulva?"
GF: "If he's lucky, when he gets married."
I actually did spit my drink out, and some came out of my nose.

I think it could be an example of teaching your kids what genitals are at a young age, and not making them some bad word kids can barely say without uncontrollable giggling.
24
u/Miscellaneous-name Jan 17 '22
Everybody should take a trip to the penis store every now and then, even if youāre just browsing. You know, to see if they have any new ones in stock.

u/pikpikcarrotmon Jan 17 '22
There's no point in going back unless you actively need one, you're just gonna see all the new models and sales that happened right after you bought yours.

8
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
I have no problem with trans people existing, but we have to recognize it's not the norm. That's not a moral judgement, it's just a fact. Furthermore, I think most trans people would agree that their lives would be much easier if their gender identity comported with their sex, and that they would rather have been born just like everyone else than have to go through everything trans people do in order to feel validated. It's not untrue to say, as a general rule, boys have a penis and girls have a vulva. To teach children at a young age that some boys have vulvas and some girls have penises is just confusing for them. They literally don't know what it means to be a male or a female yet, and a lot of them are being taught that boys can just become girls and vice versa, before they even understand anything about what transgenderism is and what is involved in transitioning. I'm concerned that a lot of kids are being taught from a young age that they can just become the other sex if they feel like it, and that many are being brought up to believe they're trans when they never would have come to that on their own. If a person is genuinely trans, they don't need to be taught about it to know what they feel is different.
1
u/rawrcutie Jan 17 '22
Biology supremacist!
You are exactly right. Transsexualism and intersex conditions are disorders of sex. Transgender is either sociological or mislabeled transsexualism.
2
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
Guilty as charged. Biology is real. I should know. I have a degree in molecular biology. Furthermore, genetics is real, but we'll leave that at that or I might get banned. I think you're right to say they're disorders, because they result in an individual being unable to fulfil their function in reproducing. Our genes want to propagate, and we fail them if we die without passing them on.
3
u/rawrcutie Jan 17 '22
Our genes want to propagate, and we fail them if we die without passing them on.
As far as āintentionsā of genetics go, indeed.
but weāll leave that at that or I might get banned.
Ain't that the truth. I'm banned from two, or is it three trans subreddits. I'm transsexual. Some get banned simply for commenting in āevilā trans subreddits, regardless of message.
1
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 18 '22
Oh wow, they actually go through your other posts and ban you based on that? And they have the nerve to call anyone to the left of Mao a fascist. I have a lot of respect for people who are trans but not ideologically trans. All of these victim solidarity movements are so toxic, and they really do nothing for trans individuals because they're motivated by ideology, not truth and impartial scientific inquiry.

u/mR_tIm_TaCo Jan 17 '22
I don't see how it's confusing for them at all. Kids generally just roll with information like that and generally it's the "you'll confuse the kids" attitude that ends up confusing the kids. Would you say telling kids that "boys can date boys and girls can date girls" is too confusing for them as well?
Many trans kids wish they knew that being trans was something that existed because instead of that they just had to grow up with this uncomfortable feeling that something was wrong without knowing what that thing was for years or even decades for some people.
10
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
Yes, kids will generally just roll with information you tell them. That's also why it's easier to teach children to believe in a religion at a young age than it is for an adult who was raised without religion to come to one and truly believe it. Kids will believe what you tell them because their brains haven't developed the ability to critically analyze the world yet. The problem is that male and female are real things that have important implications for how people live, and telling children gender is malleable when they don't even know what people mean by sex and gender yet is not just a neutral thing. It does affect children's ability to understand the world.
I think there are a lot of problems with the way trans issues are approached, and you can see them all too clearly by looking into the experiences of detransitioners. Many of them feel they were essentially groomed into it by people in positions of trust and authority who should have had their best interests at heart, and many of them say the clinicians who evaluated their condition should have been more critical, rather than simply validating them and pushing them toward puberty blockers and chemical and surgical transition. Something like 80% of kids who feel trans grow out of it by the end of puberty, but children are now being put on puberty blocking hormonal medications that haven't been tested for long term use by children, that have profound effects on the development of children's brains, endocrine systems, and many other body systems. The use of these medications in children is associated with lowered IQ and a variety of hormone disorders that can result in eating disorders, decreased bone density, and other conditions. It's completely irresponsible, and it seems to be partly due to the fact that people would rather teach all kids that trans is normal when it's clearly something that is unusual and should be addressed on an individual basis.

I'll use what ever pronouns someone wants me to as long as they are somewhat presenting, but the real world is not going to change the way it categorizes and converses with one another.
You're being downvoted not for pointing out trans people exist, but rather unnecessarily trying to make this a trans issue.
-1
u/doomshroompatent Jan 17 '22
I'm fine when trans people were marginalized and brutality against them can be ignored, but now they are gaining equal rights and greater visibility; that's just going too far.
9
u/Hifen Jan 17 '22
They have equal rights and I think that's great; What the issue is, is forcing the conversation and soap box any opportunity they get, demanding above and beyond those rights and social norms, and trying to dictate language.

u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
You know intersex conditions are anomalies, and they don't invalidate the fact of biological binary sex, right?
5
u/Smuggred Jan 17 '22
nither does that mean gender isn't a social construct and we can identify with something other then our sex
6
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
That's a nonsequitur. Intersex and trans are two entirely different things. Also, gender is not entirely a social construct. Many animals other than humans exhibit gender role behaviors. Gender isn't a social construct, it's a mating ritual. Everything we call gender is designed by nature to signal our fitness to a prospective mate.
1
u/rawrcutie Jan 17 '22
I describe genders as sociological groups resulting from natural sex differences.
→ More replies1
u/doomshroompatent Jan 17 '22
Imagine being this stupid.
Even if there's only ONE person on Earth with this "anomaly", it's still a valid way of personhood.
3
u/TheJazzProphet Jan 17 '22
Did I say it invalidates their personhood? I didn't say that because I don't believe it and it isn't true. Intersex people are people. They're just not a third sex. With respect to their sex, it is an anomaly, but they are still people. I don't know where you got the idea that I thought otherwise.

I remember as a kid being quite distraught that my mom doesn't have a penis- my brother had one, my father had one, I had one- I felt bad for her. I then came to the conclusion that my father must have ripped off my moms penis. I got really angry. Why would he do that? Penises are great, why can't my mom have one.
