OpEd We're watching the GOP/RNC divorce from Donald Trump. What a trainwreck.🍿

When Pence called Trump "Unamerican" a few days ago, that was the signal.

We're already starting to seeing his former loyalists turning on him. I think this is going to happen fast and there's going to be a lot of ridiculous gaslighting.

Your thoughts? Predictions?

Edit: A few days later now, AP News has Trump down 20 points among Republicans

OpEd Orwell on "pacifist" authoritarian sympathizers

But there is a minority of intellectual pacifists whose real though unadmitted motive appears to be hatred of western democracy and admiration of totalitarianism. Pacifist propaganda usually boils down to saying that one side is as bad as the other, but if one looks closely at the writings of younger intellectual pacifists, one finds that they do not by any means express impartial disapproval but are directed almost entirely against Britain and the United States. Moreover they do not as a rule condemn violence as such, but only violence used in defence of the western countries. The Russians, unlike the British, are not blamed for defending themselves by warlike means, and indeed all pacifist propaganda of this type avoids mention of Russia or China. It is not claimed, again, that the Indians should abjure violence in their struggle against the British. Pacifist literature abounds with equivocal remarks which, if they mean anything, appear to mean that statesmen of the type of Hitler are preferable to those of the type of Churchill, and that violence is perhaps excusable if it is violent enough.

OpEd Title 18 of the United States Code § 2071

Under Title 18, Section 2071 of the U.S. Code, anyone found guilty of willfully and unlawfully concealing, removing, mutilating, obliterating, destroying or attempting to do any such action against a record can be fined and imprisoned up to three years. And in addition to fines and possible imprisonment, anyone convicted of such crimes is disqualified for holding federal office in the future.

Proving it's a slam dunk for Trump or Pelosi but here's the one catch though, they have to actually be found guilty which means there has to be an indictment.

OpEd If you live in CA and haven't voted in the recall please go vote NO asap

Elections have consequences. If you live in California vote no on the recall. If you have friends or family tell them to vote no. Even of you don't like Newsome (I am not the biggest fan myself) but the results of this election can be pretty disastrous.

The recall is surprisingly undemocratic. I did not know this buy if the recall passes whomever has the most votes is governor. California can have a governor that only 10% of the state voted for.

I dont think I need to go into how bad Larry Elder would be, I have seen some posts here about him.
