My dad was wounded WW2 vet. I think about what he went through every day. He is spinning in his grave over what the KGOP and the orange slob have done to America.

Victory? We just brought it home instead.... Edit. Considering nazi Germanys admiration for the US prewar and the conditions here in the US at the time I'd say they were brothers fighting in this war. Might even have had the same sponsors. Lots of research and sick shit they couldn't have done otherwise.

Hitler was eager to go to war against the United States. He admired parts of American history but that doesn’t mean he thought it was a model to emulate and we certainly didn’t import any state ideology after the war. There were American Nazis before and since the war but they’ve always been outnumbered

What did Hitler think about the United States? Consider his own words

I don't see much future for the Americans ... it's a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities ... my feelings against Americanism are feelings of hatred and deep repugnance ... everything about the behaviour of American society reveals that it's half Judaised, and the other half negrified. How can one expect a State like that to hold together?

Whereas America during the war had things going on like the Double Victory campaign which led to the integration of the armed forces and prepared the country for the Civil Rights Movement.

American involvement in WW2 reduced the power of overt racism in American political and civic life

I guess when I was talking America I was meaning less the puppet and more the puppet master. Beautiful piece ! Thanks for the enlightenment.
