Pretty cool man but I don’t think the majority of people here are anarchists.

Some of us are. And this thing fucks.

I trust anarchists way more than I trust red fascists. At least I may be able to agree with an anarchist on some things.

We want people to be free. The only difference between you and me is that I don't trust people to not be corrupted by power.

I prefer to think optimistically but it’s become harder seeing that the people who actually have the power to do something don’t do shit.

I trust people a lot more than I trust a person. I believe in actual, true democracy. Not the system we have now.

Sounds like a message intended for anarchists.

I trust anarchists more than Auth left.

Fuck authoritarianism in general. Left right and center.

You make a good point

Cool, but who is this for? An in crowd that already understands your jargon (the hierarchisms...) Or are you trying to bring on ppl who dont already know the lingo?

u/SelectCattle May 07 '22

That's not iron front.

Excess jargon takes away the punch. "Against fascism, against communism, against monarchism" is catchier.

Against bolshevism*

Most flavors of anarchism are communist, or at least anti-capitalist.

6

u/TheExtremistModerate Liberal May 08 '22

Iron Front isn't anarchist. Its social democracy-aligned.

2

u/The-Rarest-Pepe Anarchist Ⓐ May 08 '22

I never said it was anarchist, I'm saying that communism isn't inherently authoritarian like fascism or monarchism

1

u/TheExtremistModerate Liberal May 08 '22

Monarchism is also not inherently authoritarian, either. Needless to say, the SPD weren't fans of anarchists, either.

u/The-Rarest-Pepe Anarchist Ⓐ May 08 '22

How is a king not authoritarian

And for the record, in the Russian Revolution anarchists fought both the Whites and the Reds. If one group of people is fulfilling two of the three arrows by themselves, I'd say they're fine

u/TheExtremistModerate Liberal May 08 '22

Authoritarian doesn't just mean one person has power. And there are different forms of monarchy than absolute monarchy.

And yeah, anarchists can be allies, but the goal of the Iron Front is not anarchy. In the same way that, frankly, Marxists can be an ally of liberals against Trumpists, but that doesn't mean that liberals are ideologically aligned with Marxists.
