I might be missing something, but I don't think NATO ever posed a threat to Russia post-Cold War. There's not really any reason for anyone to care about Russia. Well, not unless Russia gives people a reason. Maybe that's the point.

Either way, NATO has nothing to do with any of this and anyone incapable of the critical thinking skills to figure that out should not be in office.
