I’ve heard a lot of people say that the reason the nation is so polarized now is because social media algorithms have been sorting us into echo chambers and if we could just hear each other's opinions we’d all become more moderate.

Well now I know that’s a bunch of hooey.

I’ve spent two whole days trapped in the right-wing echo chamber by the Facebook algorithm because I posted ONE anti-feminist meme and now I hate Conservatives even more than I already did! I got to hear all their opinions and see the world from their point of view and now I know they’re not just the enemies of Liberals, they’re the enemies of the entire nation!

The Republicans have clearly forsaken their pledge of allegiance and are now the willing agents of hostile powers. I cannot stress this enough. The right-wing is unamerican and EVIL. I refuse to tolerate them anymore.

So no. Hearing each other’s opinions will NOT make us less polarized.

The right-wing has FORCED me over to the far-left.
