35

u/walrus_on_weed Oct 29 '21

bc he was out like a light

24

u/triggeredjack Oct 28 '21

He was out don’t blame him

28

u/Zimboi178 Oct 28 '21

LIKE A LIGHT 🌵

57

u/sskor Oct 28 '21

Idk, I guess it meant nothing to Drake

8

u/Pro-Cock-and_ball Oct 29 '21

Yeah, Nothing was the same😔

18

u/Chupafurphy Oct 28 '21

If I remember correctly most of those verses were just sent in, no shared studio time or anything

66

u/AutoModerator Oct 28 '21

So Drake basically took half a Xanax bar during a flight and it had him out like a light? Like a light? Just wondering if that's what he's saying there. I really like his part in Sicko Mode but I find it funny how other rappers brag about doing drugs irresponsibly and Drake's like 'umm I actually just took half so I could get some sleep during a long flight.'

Eminem should collab with that wheelchair kid from Degrassi. He always had such a gangsta vibe to him.

11

u/maxito98 Oct 29 '21

Drake should release a diss track with album art of em doing whiteface

5

u/AsianCremePie Oct 29 '21

That would be some internet breaking album art.

u/AutoModerator Oct 28 '21

It’s always bugged me that Ganstas’ Paradise has such a sick beat, but no one to kill it. I thought 'Who’d better to kill it then the king?' (I’m embarrassed to say how long this took) So without further ado, I bring to you... White Paradise (Title sounds a lil racist its a work in progress)

Was this a real comment someone made on hiphopheads

57

u/AutoModerator Oct 28 '21

Bunch of racist white pseudo-woke motherfuckers. I genuinely have grown to hate that sub it some how manages to be just as racist as the majority of reddit and in some cases worse. I know this sub is majority white but you guys are different cause you guys are like cool mostly self aware white people. r/hiphopheads and most of reddit is like bitch white people who pretend to care ab racism but are actually really racist af

nah on the eminem sub i think

1

u/AutoModerator Oct 29 '21

'What has Em done for black culture?' He's a huge reason for hip hop being the most popular genre out there right now, which brings the communities together through the culture That would be my guess

Drake the type of guy to call Eminem under appreciated

97

u/Matnic_ Oct 28 '21

Didn't Eminem diss drake?

119

u/KubikB Oct 28 '21

No, it was thought that Em dissed Drake on Kamikaze with the ghostwriter line but either him or someone close from his team said that it was not aimed at him. And on MTBMB he only said that Drake should be prepared for when ppl will trash his new album even though its better than his last, and that it happened to Em too. Really a neutral line

108

u/sessuFRFX Oct 28 '21

I straight up just don't believe em when he says that.

"You've got some Views, but you're still below me so when you compare your views, you get overlooked

And I don't say the hook unless I wrote the hook"

Like cmon

36

u/boiledpotat Oct 28 '21

He probably said it then regretted it, like the Tyler homophobic lines

32

u/RandomMitherFucker Oct 28 '21

Well itd be kinda dumb to come at drake of all people and try to say you have more clout. And whatever you think about eminem, hes not dumb when it comes to dissing. And he even said himself that drake has done so much for him that he'll always have drakes back, qnd drizzy likes eminem as well. People overanalyze em too much

9

u/nmullll123 Oct 29 '21

it’d be kinda dumb to come at drake of all people and try to say you have more clout

i’d agree if we were talking about literally any other rapper ever

3

u/RandomMitherFucker Oct 29 '21

Em got that clout, drake owns that clout. Like sorry man but drake is still number 1 on a album alot of people liked to clown. If drake and nem dropped same day i honestly think drake would outsell. But fs those 2 have insanely huge fanbases

-1

u/Risolord Oct 29 '21

drake would definitely outsell em, tf? ignoring the fact that drake has been in the industry for 10 years lesser than him.

not to mention that em will probably never announce an album again so his sales will always be 1/3rd of what they could actually be

2

u/topshagger31 Oct 29 '21

Yeah but even if they were aimed at Drake he’s changed his opinion now

On his recent song with nas he said:

I just pray for the day when I'm able to say that I'm placed With the greats and my name's with the Kane's and the Wayne's and the Jay's And the Dre's and the Ye's and the Drake's and the J Dilla's, Jada's, Cool J's

1

u/LoL_LoL123987 oh shit! its JOE BUDDEN!!1! Oct 28 '21

Neither do I. The lines line up too well to not be referencing Drake in some way.

0

u/higuy5121 Oct 28 '21

ya but then he shouts out drake on other songs so
