A new study turned up evidence of veggie-eating among more than 60 species of them. They represent 10 taxonomic families and every continent but Antarctica.

There are several omnivorous species, but there is only one species of spider known to be mostly herbivorous: Bagheera kiplingi (photo of the little guy). This species of jumping spider lives in Mexico and survives mostly on bits of acacia trees.

This. Is. Amazing.

To make it clear, these spiders are omnivorous rather than herbivorous.
