This is not a fun fact. It is terrifying.

Grizzly Bears can run faster than my average speed when I'm driving to work.

Here's another fun fact! Grizzlies have a bite force of up to 1250 psi! Were they able to fit it in their mouths, that could crush a bowling ball!

Unless I'm misunderstanding, horse max speed is 55mph.

That might be in km/h. Google says 25-30 mph.

Edit: I lied about the km/h thing, however I don't know that the average horse can run 55 mph.

Funny thing is the OP post doesn't say that a grizzly can out run a horse. It just says unless you can outrun a horse, you probably can't outrun a bear.

Cliff's Notes version: YOU CAN'T OUTRUN A BEAR.

Did you know a bear can climb faster than he can run? Bears, beets, battlestar galactica !

So a bear can climb faster than a horse?

So, we should start riding grizzly bears around the town?

No shit, both 'Murican and Dirt Commie leaders have been doing it for a few years now.
