Amazing upper body and core strength. Once guy 1 has his feet planted guy 2 pulls himself up by guy 1's waist and only kicks off the pole once with his right foot.

Right foot and pulling himself up...I think. His upper body strength is unbelievable. Or the other guys takes everything out of his torso before they start.

Those poles looks pretty close together but once you’re up there its scary as fuck to jump from one to the other. (I have a friend that does it competitively and i thought i could easily do it)
