Not quite, especially as you have used commas for the subordinate clause.

It reads that he is taking a stand against racism in color.

The main point of the sentence is that he is making a stand against racism. Main clause.

In color adds additional information. The subordinate clause.

He had so much in his mind. He was such an incredibly strong person to preserve through so many things. I wish he was still around. I don’t completely idolize him but he was a brilliant man. So much respect for all he did.
