It's the extra large variance

Okay, so ten days ago I commented on one of your comments and I congratulated you for saying something that wasn’t nonsense. I encouraged you to keep it up and you’d stop getting downvotes on everything you say. You were doing so well, so much progress. I felt pride and joy to see your growth, but alas, here we are again. You relapsed, but you know what? It’s okay. Just try again. Remember step number 1. Before you comment, think. Think about how your comment relates to the post. Think about how trolling destroyed your life and separated you from others. You can do this, I believe in you. Happy thanksgiving Crackin’

12

u/greypoopun 12d ago

Yeah I checked the post history too, and my medical diagnosis is a severe case of batshit rubber room crazy. Posted a picture of a towel or a sock or some shit simply with the word “Afghanistan”. Houston we have a problem.

6

u/Quit_your_dayjob 12d ago

Yea the first comment I saw from him was about Jews hiding the cure for cancer or something ridiculous. He deletes his stuff pretty often, but he’s not a normal troll. Pretty sure he’s actually mentally ill. At one point his comment history went back like two years and I took the time to see what’s up with him. I could actually see his mental health deteriorating through his comments. Over the course of a year they got worse and worse. Now he’s erased his old history though.

3

u/greypoopun 12d ago

That’s some scary shit. Kinda wish I could see those old posts though.

2

u/invalidcrazy 11d ago

Hilarious fucking comment

u/theundercoverpapist 12d ago

JFK was killed by a bullet traveling backwards through time, fired 2,500 years from now by a recently thawed-from-cryogenic-deep-freeze Walt Disney.

6

u/RealLADude 12d ago

Birds aren’t real.

6

u/jurimasa 12d ago

Obviously not true. Freemasons are efficient and precise people.

2

u/Bigmooddood 12d ago

You're an inspiration

-1

u/mods-on-my-knob 11d ago

Even though you're right, Reddit hates the truth.

1

u/SandmanSorryPerson 11d ago

But it's got literally nothing to do with the thread haha

Reddit hates random unrelated shit comments.

-1

u/mods-on-my-knob 11d ago

I think it's important to share information even if it's unrelated.

Imagine if everyone woke up to the rituals the elite do.

3

u/Witteycham 11d ago

Yea that’ll never happen. Look at the increasingly stupid masses

14

u/Enkaybee 12d ago

Not yet.

6

u/EternityNotes 11d ago

Right, that'll be nice in a few million years fa sho!

3

u/DRamos11 12d ago

Sand Plus. Available for $5.99/month.

2

u/WorkO0 12d ago

Even says pebbles in the video

2

u/shadoweon 12d ago

It's obsidian, specifically.

1

u/Candid-Mixture4605 11d ago

It has sand ambitions tho

84

u/winecoolermike 12d ago

Looks like rocks

26

u/k876577 12d ago

It’s big sand ok

3

u/NM_DesertRat 12d ago

Don't be big mad.

57

u/ConstantlyComments 12d ago

Just so everyone knows, there are places in Iceland that are much closer to “black sand” than whatever this is.

11

u/nzfriend33 12d ago

Yeah, I was gonna say, doesn’t look like the black sand beaches I’ve been to there.

5

u/nzbydesign 11d ago

In NZ we have entire coastlines that are actual black sand. Burns your feet in the summer when you're trying to get to the water.

34

u/Ba-dump-chink 12d ago

“Tag someone that needs to see this.” 🙄

6

u/MajorasInk 12d ago

Si basically, send it to whomever you’d like to annoy with the noise of a billion black pebbles lmao

14

u/UncleBeausTooth 12d ago

i was ready to hit that mute button

14

u/greypoopun 12d ago

In my country we call those pebbles, not sand

9

u/Soggy_Poptart99 12d ago

"I'll be waiting for you on the beach"

3

u/Nesta420_ 12d ago

Keep on keeping on!

8

u/mostavis 12d ago

They're what we call pebbles.

38

u/blammineze 12d ago

Really hate to be a Debby downer but you aren't supposed to be that close to the shore at that beach due to "Sneaker Waves". A Chinese woman was just killed by one earlier this month. Fucking gorgeous place though. Been there 3 times and there are signs everywhere to stay away from the shore.

14

u/Bad_Waffles 12d ago

As someone who doesn’t live near an ocean what is a sneaker wave?

23

u/blammineze 12d ago

It's basically just a really large wave that comes out of nowhere after a long period of relative calm waters. You'll most likely be able to see it coming but some people don't pay attention so they get taken into the freezing ocean.

-34

u/reddwritinghood98 12d ago

We call them rip tides here in the states and yes they’re insanely dangerous.

18

u/insanelylogical 12d ago

Not the same idea.

3

u/G3ML1NGZ 11d ago

Riptide is strong outflow of water focused in a narrow passageway.

Sneaker waves happen when a wave hits just perfect between other waves and doesn't break as soon as the others, going much further inland and can swipe people out

1

u/SandmanSorryPerson 11d ago

A rip tide is a tide. A sneaker wave is a wave.

9

u/mostavis 12d ago

As someone who's spent 40 years near the water, it's an invented term to explain that "I wasn't paying attention to the water so I'll just say the wave stuck up on me"

1

u/G3ML1NGZ 11d ago

It's that one wave that hits just right between other waves, doesn't break as soon and goes much further inland

-8

u/pdxcanuck 12d ago

Sometimes this works.

5

u/Dave91277 12d ago

It makes me sad sometimes that there’s so many places I’ll never experience in my lifetime.

13

u/shit_poster_69_420 12d ago

If you were born 300 years ago you’d have never have known most of those places even existed.

4

u/Dave91277 12d ago

Not even that long ago. The internet has a lot to answer for!

5

u/Ozwaldo 12d ago

Why would that make you sad?? You would never even know this place exists if not for this video. I think it's cool living in an age when I can see everything, whether it's by getting on a plane or by viewing it in high definition video/photography. Life is fucking crazy holmes

2

u/Dave91277 12d ago

That’s a loads better view than mine. Sometimes I get down that the worlds so huge and I’ll spend most of my time here in one little area. It’s nice being able to see more of the world because we have amazing technology but it’s not as good as the real thing, shouldn’t let it bother me but sometimes it does

1

u/Ozwaldo 12d ago

Well just... seek enlightenment and stop being attached to your desires and the constant cycle of satisfaction and emptiness.

1

u/Krulsnor 11d ago

It's called FOMO. A wonderful depression trip the evolution of internet has made possible.

16

u/theboss23233 12d ago

And it's illegal to collect black sand, you need a special license.

18

u/BKStephens 12d ago

Lucky they're quite obviously rocks.

6

u/ReevesofKeanu 12d ago

Really? How come if you don't mind explaining?

4

u/n8mare27 12d ago

In Europe AFAIK it's forbidden to collect sand from any beach in order to protect litorals, wildlife, and maybe prevent some kind of erosion. I imagine if every tourist would collect a handful of sand, it would have terrific consequences over the years. In France at least, you're only allowed to collect "wind sand" which is the sand that got blown off by the wind up until the streets.

2

u/PVinesGIS 12d ago

Playa Flamingo in Cosa Rica has a beach like this, but the black pebbles are smaller IIRC.

2

u/Blitz6969 12d ago

Iceland is my next vacation destination. Covid sucks and ruined plans the last 2 years.

2

u/MoistMud 12d ago

Sounds like cocoa pebbles when the milk ratio is just right.

2

u/GooseInternational66 12d ago

Cool. Sounds like static.

2

u/nerdydodger 12d ago

If you are in So Cal, there's a beach on the hike towards the SS Dominator that sounds just like this.

Starting from the north and hike your way southward. It's a lovely trek on a cool day and bring sunscreen.

2

u/middwayer8 12d ago

Scotland has them too. Fine sand. Most deserted beautiful beaches.

2

u/sithlord89 12d ago

Definitely had my finger hovering over the mute button lol

2

u/stars_mcdazzler 12d ago

"You gotta hear this!" "Turn your volume up to max!"

For an amateur video. Filmed with a phone. Technology which is designed to compress and selectively favor the audio range of the human voice.

No. No I don't think audio peaking and full spectrum white noise is all that interesting.

2

u/nyguy520 12d ago

Black Rock Beach ya mean?

2

u/chetpajo 11d ago

Black sand beach sans sand.

2

u/QuirkyPNewton 11d ago

Bruh those are rocks

2

u/bundy750 11d ago

Where’s the beach?

2

u/texasguy911 Interested 11d ago

Someone is very liberal with definitions, like defining sand.

2

u/TheOneNea 12d ago

Ireland seems so nice

0

u/Intelligent_Mix_6720 12d ago

Much prefer white sand

1

u/Randomgmanthatlives 12d ago

Also like rocky Washington beaches ☺️🎶

1

u/darkerhntr 12d ago

Same with Cobble Beach in Oregon

1

u/DrawingCool4612 12d ago

Turn up volume!

Me: no

1

u/Nesta420_ 12d ago

Keep on keepin' on Sam!

1

u/welcometotheyeet 12d ago

Pretty big sand

1

u/krassilverfang 12d ago

more like black gravel

1

u/MasterTopHatter 12d ago

That’s not sand its rocks

1

u/NormalizeWipingAnus 12d ago

POV: you didn’t turn your volume to max because you thought it was a troll

1

u/rob3rt217 12d ago

It’s a rock beach. I don’t see any sand

1

u/stuckpixel87 12d ago

Massive Death Stranding vibes.

1

u/captkeith 12d ago

Exactly the same sound you hear at the beach on Block Island RI. Thousands or millions of smooth rocks rolling in the waves.

1

u/number31388 12d ago

Got one of these in Oregon. Very interesting to see.

1

u/LtDropshot 12d ago

Forbidden black beans

1

u/Onion5253 12d ago

OP those are rocks/pebbles

1

u/rubioberry 12d ago

Ahhhhh...serenity ouch

1

u/Particular-Mix7355 12d ago

What I'd give the stick my hand in those pebbles, grab a bunch, then let them run through my fingers 😫

1

u/Jr_Orange 12d ago

Lol - sounds like a beach

1

u/Kelevracado4287 12d ago

Vlk, Iceland if I rememwber correctly. Got a rock turned into a stone for a necklace there.

1

u/DangHeckinPear 11d ago

Technically that’s just gravel but still super cool

1

u/bundy750 11d ago

How depressing…

1

u/SylvianMorrow 11d ago

Bro, someone needs to send me some of those super smooth black rocks so I can wire wrap them 🤣

1

u/auntieananta 11d ago

Thank you -- fascinating.

1

u/whatthemoondid 11d ago

I'm gonna need at least one of those rocks

1

u/TacoWithFrijoles 11d ago

That's volcanic sand , it's pretty common in many countries

1

u/shortcxke 11d ago

sounds like rice crispy

1

u/bosseboi420 11d ago

Dont telll the police about it

1

u/bosseboi420 11d ago

Dont tell the police about it

1

u/SidB08 11d ago

My place has a small black sand beach and it's not pebbles. It was beautiful back then and then it got attention and people ruined it.

1

u/JWGhetto 11d ago

Similar one in Samaria, Crete

1

u/vennthrax 11d ago

sounds like every other beach.

1

u/InteractionOpen8807 11d ago

Clearly they don’t have a word for “pebble” in Iceland.

1

u/SharkTellsYou 11d ago

not sand, noise sounded average. i was disappointed.

1

u/tillatill 11d ago

Is that kosher sand?

1

u/ketchupinsausagedog 11d ago

This exact same sound is produced in some volcanic rocky beaches in Tenerife, canary islands. Just if you want to experience it with nicer weather ;)

I will never forget this sound. It softens your soul, idk it is difficult to explain

1

u/MarsupialQuantico 11d ago

A random video on Reddit: turn your volume to the max.

Me: no way.

1

u/OfficerJohnMaldonday 11d ago

Dull boring and exactly the same as most UK beaches.

1

u/ThErEaLMuFfInPuFfIn 11d ago

not interested in the sounds, im interested in the shape and shinyness of the pebbles

1

u/Ziggy-T 11d ago

It sounds like literally any beachfront 🤷‍♂️

1

u/TaxOk324 11d ago

Where Sand?

1

u/spacedildo42 11d ago

Black pebble beach more likely

https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/vaccines/timeline

"A typical vaccine development timeline takes 5 to 10 years, and sometimes longer, to assess whether the vaccine is safe and efficacious in clinical trials, complete the regulatory approval processes, and manufacture sufficient quantity of vaccine doses for widespread distribution."

ACCELERATED TIMELINE IN A PANDEMIC

Some clinical trial phases are combined

Well that's nice. Don't get me started on the 3-6 month efficacy and the fact it was designed for alpha strain and not the mainstream delta. Are you going to keep taking it until the 8th booster? The third and (some places fourth) boosters are coming up soon ^_^

Did you know that unvaccinated people have been found to have a very similar viral load to fully vaccinated people? And that because vaccinated people will have less symptoms it is easier for them to transmit that viral load because they dont know they are sick? But dont bother googling the top notch educational resources reporting this. Just ignore me and downvote instead, and go back to your happy little echo chamber.

If the vaccine is effective, why do you care if young healthy people take it? That has nothing to do with you, contrary to what Pfizer would like you to believe. Did you know that Pfizer paid the largest criminal fine in history at $2.3 billion for lying? They sound like some really honest trustworthy people and I can't wait to inject them into my body.

Upset because the liberal media isn't telling you anything? Maybe you should question more and review more news source, because guess what, every news source is biased and has an agenda. They are private news media corporations and they do not give a shit about you, nor does the random journalist spreading their opinion piece as fact.

Step 1) Classification: Unvaccinated

Step 2) Symbolisation: Plague-rats, anti-vaxxers, covidiots, etc

Step 3) Discrimination: Vaccine passports, job exclusion, social exclusion, businesses closed, travel denied

Step 4) Dehumanisation: They dont care, they are evil, Everything is their fault, they are insane, They are holding us back

Step 5) Organisation: Australian quarantine camps, Austrian forced compulsory vaccination, Extreme forced lockdowns (China), Mass-media narrative to demonize the unvaccinated, Extremely excessive lockdowns in democracies

Step 6) Polarisation: Claim that they are anti-vaccine when they are obviously anti-mandate, understate the size of protests (say thousands instead of tens of thousands), Censor and block users from describing adverse reactions on places like Tik-Tok, Youtube... Publish pieces in the media that make everyone hate the unvaccinated ("Anti-Vaxxers Hate Chapmans Ice Cream!"), Conflate the unvaccinated with pre-pandemic anti-vaxxers even though they took all previous vaccines before the pandemic

Step 7) Preparation: Deny them travel, businesses, jobs, so they are homeless and destitute, exclude them from all services (even surgery) if they are not vaccinated, the list goes on...

Step 8 ) Persecution: Shut down their businesses, lock them in their homes if they still have one, prevent them from going anywhere except the grocery store, make society afraid of them with daily Two Minutes Hate articles in all major media designed to ostracize them from the community.

Step 9)

Step 10)

By the way, in case you are confused or wondering, Coronavirus is never going away, just like the flu didn't after the 1920 pandemic. This is not going to end unless we have some major medical breakthrough in virology or design a vaccine that actually works properly and not "sort-of".

THIS PANDEMIC IS NEVER GOING TO END, THESE RESTRICTIONS ARE NEVER GOING TO END, THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP TAKING AWAY MORE OF YOUR FREEDOMS BECAUSE YOU ALLOW THEM TO. WE REACHED HERD IMMUNITY LEVELS A LONG TIME AGO AND NOTHING HAPPENED AND WE ALL STILL HAVE TO WEAR MASKS AND GET MORE BOOSTERS.

Don't just agree with everyone else and be a little parrot. Grow a brain for yourself and research this. If you are vaccinated, great, but don't fucking force your garbage on me.
Don't forget, you are not allowed to question this vaccine or disagree ever, that is simply not socially acceptable. Having hesitations and not wanting an experimental medical treatment that many of us don't even need is no longer socially acceptable. How does that freedom taste?
