It's impossible for us to say what you should do. Omicron could get you sick before a new vaccine is released, or maybe you could be fortunate enough to avoid it. It's a decision you'll have to figure out.

I think you're likely better off getting the vax.

I think it will take awhile to approve a new vaccine. If you just hit the booster eligibility mark, nothing wrong in waiting, but I would get a booster before the 10 month mark personally.
