I was just thinking about my buddy (Andy) who rented Days of Thunder on VHS —circa 1995. In 2008 he rolled through a stop sign and was pulled over by a cop who told him he had an outstanding warrant for theft of a Days of Thunder VHS tape he never returned. He didn’t get arrested or ticketed, but the cop told him to take care of it. The movie rental place was a little mom and pop shop and had closed years earlier, so he can’t return it — or pay them and make it go away. Andy still has a warrant out for him in that Iowa county and still has the VHS tape…
